So he decides to talk to it, telling the warm shadow how much David and the rest of the pack have grown and how lucky they all are to have mates now

Honey: (hiding in their office under the desk trying not to have a panic attack over the work they were trying to finish)

Guy: (enters office) "...honey? You alright? What's goin on?"

Honey: (reaches their arm towards him from under the desk)

Guy: (he takes their hand and sits on the floor beside them) "there you are baby, hi"

(he waits for them to speak, they do not, he scoots their desk chair out of the way and opens his arms for a hug)

(they press into his arms, face buried in the crook of his neck, a soft shaky breath escaping them as they're able to relax in his hold)

Guy: "it's ok you don't need to explain right now, we can just stay here...though I think your ass might get tired of the hardwood floor pretty quick. And that would just be a tragedy for an ass as fine as yours Honey~"

(the two of them stand after a few minutes and make their way to the living room where Guy lays down on the sofa and pulls Honey down to lay on his chest)
