I doubt she has said anything true in a decade- it’s all just a performance of what she is supposed to be, and even that is half hearted. She says and does less than the bare minimum of what is expected of her (like dodging out of obligement sessions, eating less than one-sixth of an egg.)

She nearly succeeds as Helly R because she’s so used to playing a role. She was severed before the procedure existed, because she did it to herself first.

She’s not a true believer, she’s complicit in Lumon’s crimes for the sake of her own survival and nothing else, and I know she cannot wait for her evil dad to die.
