So, Thisvid has permently removed any form of sc@t content for public viewing and, to my knowledge, limited access to members of the site. Which they haven't accepted new accounts to in a long time and personally I would not feel comfortable signing up anyway. The site is host to some extremely questionable videos. I'm not here to debate the morality of using the site, trust me i've fought myself on it for a long time.

I had a few thoughts on this and thought I could get them out here. This community on tumblr, many of us shy, myself included, is important to me. I'm speaking from my own experience here but i'm sure a lot of you can relate that I don't have any other outlets for this part of me. And it has been so isolating over the years.

These videos getting removed feels awful. It's hard to push past the feeling of "the world thinks you're a freak." Yes, what I'm into is gross. I'll be the first to say it. It's obscene, it's nasty, it's repulsive, it is downright unholy. But that can also be said about a laundry list of kinks and fetishes on the website that will be unaffected by this change.

I guess what makes me the most irritated when it comes to this subject is the fact that this niche kink is one of the taboos that doesn't cause any sort of harm to another person and yet it is treated as one of the worst among society. I'm not asking everyone to start being chill with all the weird shit but I mean, fuck, if we're not even accepted on one the most abhorrent kink sites online then where the hell else are supposed to go? It would be nice to know our corner of the internet is safe instead of constantly having to uproot.

So thats it. That's the rant. All that being said, I know it's not Thisvid that is making this choice, I can't go into detail because I'm not certain as to why they are being forced into this decision.

One last thing, I extend my condolences to the emeto community, I've seen that their videos are also being affected.
