its honestly astounding how you made a guy with a tonsure kind of hot. like really skillful to manage that /gen. ive probably been into weirder characters overall but ive never even considered the possibility of anybody with a tonsure being able to be hot. great work 👍
THANK YOU, I have no idea how I did it either!!! To be fair I've always been intrigued by monks with tonsures and I really adore the design of the monks from the game Pentiment, so that was definitely a huge inspiration. I believe that theres a weird, hot rat energy to Wenzel that transcends his haircut. I'm here to deliver lots more hot tonsure action in the future.

For someone who loves dark medieval themes I've actually never played Dark Souls! (I'm not very good at high difficulty rpgs, I hate when things come at me) But I vaguely know these characters and I believe you would be correct hahaha I think Gallant would definitely approve. I feel like its essential viewing so I will have to watch a playthrough at some point!

Is the skin book made from the skin of sinners or saints? I'm just curious about how cursed/blessed this item is.
OHOHOho I'm not sure how much I should share because the skin book is very central to the plot of the comic! I think I can say that the book that Wenzel carries around is actually bound in the skin of the person who wrote it.

Hello! I have a question: If Wenzel is a monk, does that mean he can sing? What's his voice like?
OH I love this question!! I hate to inform you that Wenzel does not have the voice of an angel. His singing voice is very monotonous and flat (absolutely tone deaf) so the other monks have not invited him to join the choir. I'll have to see if I can find some kind of voice claim to properly figure out what he sounds like. While not a talented singer, he is however quite good at drawing! When he's not doing his contracted devil hunting work, they've often got him working on illustrating manuscripts in the scriptorium!

Is Wenzel good at reading the room or picking up on social cues? Because I sure hope he's not. The thought of some poor soul making the grave mistake of asking him about the skin book delights me.
The person is frozen in horror like a deer in headlights, a forced grimicing smile on their face. Out of politeness. And Wenzel takes that as an invitation to keep talking about the skin book (totally not a necronomicon) for the next hour.
Or maybe he can pick up on it but doesn't care. Because he gets to talk about his beloved (cursed) treasure.
OOHHHH such a good question! I don't think Wenzel is the best at picking up on certain social cues, especially if its about his personal interests (He's always on that damn tome!) so I'd say that what you've described is absolutely accurate ahahaha! The other monks have learned not to start conversations with Wenzel for that very reason. If Wenzel's order knew the full extent of what he's learnt from that book, he'd be in a lot of trouble so he's had to be careful about what he chooses to share.

what does wenzel and gallant's sexual tension look like,,, in a non spoiler way of course
This is such a good question because,,,, there IS actually some sexual tension between the two of them and its so hard to explain without major plot spoilers since its very much revolving around who/what Gallant is. There are other characters in the story that I haven't introduced yet that add to this dynamic too.
Doing my best without giving too much away, Wenzel refuses to look at Gallant's face behind his mask and does not want Gallant touching him. Gallant doesn't quite understand why.

AAAAAA!!! I absolutely agree I think that Wenzel deserves some love too! He's goth in medieval times and thats hard enough... I have such a soft spot for Wenzel.
