Brother Wenzel is supposed to be a (fantasy) medieval monk, right? So uh, does that mean he took a vow of celibacy like real life contemporary monks did... or can a girl dream?
Something about his cringefail personality and rat-faced looks have awakened something in me.

I’ll be mentioning a few spoilery things ahead so if you’re reading this and you’d rather find this out via the comic, please ignore this!
Although this is technically fantasy, it is pretty heavily based in a historical setting so there IS a vow of celibacy that the monks take. However, the importance placed on upholding these vows sort of varies from person to person.
Some monks take the vows deadly seriously while others don’t really care. It’s definitely not encouraged but it’s sort of an open secret that there are certain people who are not celibate and are just keeping it under wraps. You just shouldn’t be flaunting it in front of the Abbot or any of the high ranking clergy members.
Brother Wenzel is definitely in the "I don't care" camp. He didn’t choose to enter the church; it was forced upon him at the age of 20 (He’s 30 now). Unlike a lot of the other monks in his order, he wasn’t a virgin when he swore his vows so do with that information what you will hahaha. A girl CAN DREAM. There are some other characters (who have not been mentioned yet) that are shocked beyond belief to find this out and do NOT believe him.
