The vast majority of our clerics, prelates, and novices live long lives, usually up to the average life expectancy as laid out by the census and the Imperial Health Service. There is no excessive risk, unless you are a Witness for the Dead given specialist training to quiet ghouls. Should you choose to follow a calling, you will be just as safe as you would be in any other profession. Othala Celehar is an outlier and should not be counted.
