I love that the modern-day tumblr post equivalent of chain emails only requires me to reblog a relatively pleasant image instead of forward an email to a bunch of my friends and family members to quell my raging anxiety.

It’s a win win. I get a bit of hope, you get a cute birb photo

Inevitably i see someone in the comments say “its weird how they all like pizza/chicken nuggets/french fries” its really not that weird at allcwhen you account for how arfid sensory issues come from unfamiliarity and most people give those foods to toddlers. Like the food you eat whrn youre a toddler shapes your palette.., I have arfid & In my formative years i grew up on my mom’s adoptive mom’s polish chicken noodle soup that NEEDS half a charred onion and yummy yummy latkes. To this day those are my all time favorite safe foods and i dont eat the chicken noodle soup if it doesn’t have a charred onion in it because i didnt grow up with it eaten like that. i also didnt grow up with burger king chicken nuggets so i dont find burger king nuggets to be safe foods. Are we getting it now? Does it click? Youre doing a huge disservice to everyone implying picky eaters are just being willingly stubborn or want to have it their way for unreasonable reasons
