David often lectured Tom upon the responsibilities of parenthood which annoyed Tom who considered himself to be a quite exemplary fairy parent. He provided generously for his children and grandchildren and only in exceptional circumstances had any of them put to death.

you won't believe the weather we've been getting [remembers to avoid giving away my location] the sky was turned to darkness and the moon to blood, and the stars fell from the heavens.

This past week was insane so have another horse.
the number 1 rule of fanfic is have fun and be yourself. the number 2 rule is the average healthy adult male can lose roughly 2 liters of blood before dying.

see, deep down i know that you're all talking about the gay hockey show when you shorten it to 'HR' but that does not stop my knee jerk reaction of thinking wow. what the hell is going on in that human resources department

I laughed so hard I woke up my cat
it would be so nice if you were allowed to start working on projects before you hit the 12 hour until deadline mark but sadly itβs not possible with our current technology. scientists are hard at work but for now this is one of the limitations we must face as a people
i was on the way to the movies & i saw an old guy with a piece of wood over his shoulders. it was huge -- a pole several feet long with a kind of wide fan at the end of it. and i said "what the hell is that?" and he looked at me and had this kind of ear to ear grin, and he said "what do you mean 'what the hell is that'?" and he sat back on his heels, still with that big smile like the sun spilling from the underside of a cloud and waited for me to answer and i said "i mean i don't know why you're walking around with that thing, whatever it is." and he laughed and put down his pole and kinda clapped me on the shoulder. "can i get you a drink?" he said. and i said "no, the show's in ten minutes," and he said "oh? what are you seeing?" and i said "christopher nolan's odyssey, i'm pretty excited," and he sighed and picked up his oar and kept walking.
I donβt get the joke :( someone help me
in some versions of the Odysseus legend, Odysseus leaves Ithaca and is supposed to wander the world carrying a ship's oar until he finds a place where no one knows what it is. here, he encounters someone who doesn't recognize it, but since the narrator is going to see a movie version of the Odyssey, that anonymity can't last & he has to keep wandering.

MY DEAR TUMBLR USERS!!
WONDERFUL NEWS!!
NETHERFIELD PARK IS LET AT LAST!!!
What a wonderful thing for our girls!!!
How so? How can it affect them? π€¨
My dear Merian! You must know I am thinking of his reblogging from one of them!
Is that his design in blogging here?
Design? nonsense, how can you write so! But it is very likely that he may reblog from one of them, and therefore you must follow him as soon as his blog is online.
I see no occasion for that. You and the girls may follow him, or they may follow him by themselves, which perhaps will be still better for them, for as you are as clever as any of them he might reblog most from you of the party.
My dear, you flatter me. I certainly HAVE had my share of cleverness, but I do not pretend to be anything extraordinary now. When a woman has five grown-up mutuals, she ought to give over thinking of her own reblog counts.
In such cases, a woman has not often much of a reblog count to think of.
A very special @fandomtrumpshate piece for @spacemutineer, to illustrate their incredible time-loop story The Scientist's Method. I've always wanted to do a first meeting piece, and this was the most perfect opportunity to blend this iconic scene (featuring background redrawn from the original Hutchinson illustration) with spacemutineer's wonderful words. A long time ago, I did a few bits for some of their classic 60 for 60 stories, and it was fantastic to get the opportunity to work on something together again. Truly a marvellous project and we raised $150 for LA Foodbank!
