yes

You immediately stop aging and become immune to disease and mortal injury. no secret "catch." it is permanent.
Since the whole thing with NaNoWriMo has gone down, I've noticed that one of their former sponsors, Ellipsus, has cut contact with NaNoWriMo because they do not support their stance on AI; I didn't know what Ellipsus was, but upon further research I've found that they are a writing platform that works a lot like Google Docs and Microsoft Word, only with a heavier leaning on the story-writing aspect and connecting with other writers - and they also completely denounce any use of AI, both in the writing process itself and in the use of their platform. I really appreciate that.
Since this is the case (and since I've noticed Google has begun implementing more AI into their software), I've decided to give Ellipsus a try to see if it's a good alternative to Google Docs (my main writing platform). It's completely free and so far, I've found it simple to use (although it is pretty minimal in its features), and I really like the look of it.
I figured I'd spread the word about this platform in case any of you writers would want to give it a try, and if you do, let me know how you like it!
This sounds great, Iâll give a try tonight!!
i think they know their demographic to fr

Re-sharing this post I found on Twitter for people looking for alternatives to NaNo. I haven't tried any of these sites but they might be worth looking into.

With @staff 's recent post saying 1/4 of this site is LGBTQ going around, I'd like to see what the actual demographic is
So!
would you identify yourself as:
LGBTQ+
not LGBTQ+

would you like to be tagged in writing tag games?
I did this a few months ago, but it seems there are a bunch of new writers floating around, so Iâd like to build a new list!
If youâd like for me to tag you in writeblr tag games, like Find the Word/Word Search, picrews, snippet-sharing/last line, etc- please like, reply, or rb this post!
You can also specify if you like or donât like a particular game, and Iâll make a note of that in my little list. Having a list makes sure Iâm not tagging the same three people in all my games. :)
hi there! pls reblog this if you write or read fiction because i would most certainly love to check out your blog! iâm coming back to my own writing after nearly six months on hiatus, so iâd love to meet some new faces!
also feel free to tell me about what you write about in the tags-!
:)

Loving Us: Character Introduction: Crew
I canât say I ever stood out much as a kid. My days were filled with searching, though: searching for love, for attention, for perfection. Where my homelife was filled with uncertainty, I found comfort in the gatherings of friends at lunch, and in the way we could make jokes out of everything. In a way, I think that contributed to the person I am today: hunting for the praise and attention of those around me. Where I once hid in the back, dark hair, dark clothes, I turned myself into a billboard. I flaunted myself, from my pink hair down to the scars I carried. Sometimes, I forget about my younger self, about how she worried and feared, and I betray who I once was for who I forced myself to become. I say force, but itâs turned into a part of me.
INFORMATION
Age:Â 23
Gender/Sexuality:Â Non-binary, queer
Pronouns:Â They/Them
Diagnoses: Anorexia, Histrionic Personality Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Occupation:Â TailorÂ
Education: High school diploma, aspires to study film in college
Physical Description:Â
I admired myself in the mirror. Iâm not short, but Iâm not particularly short, either. Dark hair sprouts from the roots of my bleached, pink hair. Unchanged, my sleepy green eyes looked back at me. The longer I looked, the harsher my mind became, with my mind poking at the light fat I still carried around my stomach and thighs. Another part of me admired my gentle structure, the soft curve of my jaw and my small nose. I dress myself up every morning, layers of colors and darks interchangeably, even on days where the sun wonât see me. I donât wear makeup everyday, though, but when I do, itâs always something bold that matches my clothes.Â
Romance Story
The romance we posted about yesterday has a title now! Itâll be tagged with Loving Us
Loving Us is about Crew and Neil, who connect via their mutual struggles with mental health. Often in the battle against mental illness, we get lost in our own thoughts and struggles and forget to let those we love, and who love us, into our lives. Crew and Neil, having hit it off rather quickly at a group therapy session, must navigate their love lives as they struggle with their own minds. Loving each other is just as important as loving themselves. Will they find the balance, or will they build their walls and go their separate ways?
TRIGGER WARNINGS:
Romance
The main system has In Memory Of Us to work on, but itâs hard to communicate between main and subsystem about what projects weâre working on. For us, the subsystem, we are working on a currently nameless romance story about mental health and learning to love healthily beyond illnesses. Here is the opening portion:
âI canât love you!â
Those words sunk their teeth into my fragile flesh and tore an ugly hole in my chest.
âI canât love anyone like you.â
Her words were made of mud, slathered across my image.Â
âLike me?â I scoffed. âLike me?âÂ
She spared me no details. To love me was to love a stone wall, a scarecrow, a worm. To love me was to tear your own chest open and bleed for someone who doesnât care. To love me was to hate yourself.
I, she said, am unlovable.

What perspective does your internal monologue (the voice in your head) use?

I don't have an internal monologue

(sorry if this has already been done, I haven't seen it)
Side Writing Project
I donât know if I can fully call this a WIP, but itâs just a âventâ project that I can put our negative emotions into. I thought the opening was nice, so I thought Iâd share and see if anyone was interested in hearing more of it. Thereâs no real story, just a sick/mentally ill kid managing abusive relationships and his own mind. So, here:
I donât know when I got sick, but I never recovered.
