⬆️ This is the last Andrea Gibson on my list, and I’m honestly quite sad about it. I’ve never been big on poetry, but their work is a don’t-miss.

⬇️ This is the first completion for my Pride Month TBR, and it was certainly an auspicious start. I found Chicky and Lita to be fun narrators, and the fanciful elements of the story did a great job of adding drama and whimsy to the real life issues it speaks on.

This square technically got blocked this morning with the rest of May’s, because I crocheted ahead anticipating I would finish it yesterday 😅 Which did not quite happen, but that’s okay.

This book 😭 It touched on so many things that reflect on my own daily life parenting in this political climate, while adding context to news I would have barely understood 20 years ago, to draw parallels to everything we hear (and lately, don’t hear) out of Palestine, and absolutely refusing to flinch away from the horrors of this timeline.

One for each letter of the acronym (LGBTQIA2S), plus one genderfluid rep and one pansexual rep! Most of these have been on my list for quite some time, but I also have one here that is a reread for me and one that I have dnf’d before but want to try again.
