Cindy Rizza, Matriarch, 2023, oil on linen.
I found a Granny Square card deck in a second hand store and I’ve been crocheting one a day.
Most of them are perfectly normal and easy to follow if you know the various crochet symbols but what the actual fuck is the card on the right?!
Look at this! Why does it have ghost stitches!?!
Is this a misprint or am I just not advanced enough to understand this?! Fellow crochet’ers help!?
It’s supposed to look like this btw (on the right)
Working on squares with Super Saver Ombré in Peaceful. I was only going to do the fancy Willow Square for this yarn, but I took it with me somewhere and forgot how to do the pattern and ended up making the plain granny square. So now I am alternating them. Currently not entirely sure if this is going to be a blanket or a sweater, but either way I like it a lot.
Stay warm in this winter chill with a hand-crocheted blanket from Grim & Lovely!
