While people mentioned that Anne Hathaway was flown in to the set every day, apparently it was not on a private jet but on a helicopter that was being used anyway to fly in equipment.

None of these things are new in Hollywood or exclusive to the Odyssey, its director or its actors, but I do think we as audience should start holding Hollywood accountable when it disrespects our culture, heritage, environment, especially when it's movies that are this big and have a huge budged that would allow for more conscious choices.

The family is still sheltering in a tent out of necessity, and you will notice that right now it is 31°C (88°F) in Gaza. The humidity is also 67%, and this is typical weather. No child deserves this. Both of the children are suffering, and it will greatly improve their quality of life if they can afford to rent an apartment. Sadly, although the family has found one, the rent is $2,100 per month and it is simply inaccessible. Feras has been unfairly and repeatedly shadowbanned, slowing the rate of donations greatly. So I'm humbly asking once more that you donate and prioritize this campaign for the sake of Feras and the children, who do not deserve this life.

i live with my wife and three other trans women. we've never struggled that badly to make rent, just had to ask for help with food occasionally. four of us are employed but making minimum wage or just above, but we're all disabled.

that all changed fairly recently. one of my roommates, her disability flared up badly. she's trying to figure out what happened but in the meantime she's on a leave of absence from work.

what's worse, my other roommates had back to back vacations (planned well in advance of this), and i had a furlough week due to the fourth of july.

now we're struggling to make rent this month, and likely next month as well until my roommate can figure out what's wrong, and if there's any sort of accommodations she can get.
