something you need to like. realize about tennas motivations in chapter 3 is hes essentially a dog whos aware his owners are planning on putting him to sleep soon and hes desperate to avoid it. to the dreemurrs they just see a old beloved tv thats outdated and they need to finally replace because they barely even use it anymore. to tenna hes a member of their family that they just forgot about and need to be reminded of and the second someone showed up and gave him a deal that would give him that he needed to take it no matter what.

Like I feel like a lot of people view his motivations as “washed up old celebrity who doesnt want his show to get canceled” or even “yandere starved for your attention” HES AN ITEM HES AN ACTUAL PHYSICAL TV.
