TOS U.N.C.L.E. fans are always banging on about Napoleon and Illya (absolutely fair) and how amazing Robert and David were (AS WE SHOULD)—and lbr, total same, zero judgement or notes—but istfg we REALLY need to give Leo G. Carroll his flowers because this man was in his late 70s/early 80s during filming, and not only did Mr Waverly get a bigger and bigger physical role to play during the course of the show, played multiple roles in a few episodes—but he also managed to steal a lot of dates right out from under Napoleon and Illya, not to mention how often he got involved in some pivotal fight scenes (his karate chop was pretty fierce!) and even a couple of small stunts!!!

He was such a game lad, was always the most perfect gentleman...and let's not forget he had the greatest eyebrow game of anyone of all time!!!

My best friend and I (who may or may not be a previous contributor to this post 😘💖✨☝🏻) ARE, in fact, lucky enough to have what Hudson and Connor have, and we have done for around 20 years now. Like them, our friendship began with an instant connection that felt as though the world had finally fallen into place, and quickly bloomed into a love without need of definition, a level of pure adoration that goes way beyond "what if they're secretly kissing", because, well... that's irrelevant.

I have never in my life known anyone like her. She's the most incredible woman I've ever known, she's one of the smartest people I know, a linguistic genius, a crafting goddess, a comedy idol, a kind, largehearted, deeply caring soul, someone who makes my very existence better just knowing she's there. I never need to explain myself to her, because I know that she will not just ACCEPT me for who I am and what my limitations/skills/quirks/foibles are—but she unconditionally and actively LOVES every single aspect of me, without reservation, and without a moment's judgement. She only wants the best for me because she **genuinely believes I deserve it**. Most of all, she knows that as deeply and unreservedly as she loves me, I love her back to the exact same level.

We never need to try and have any competition between ourselves, because we know whatever we succeed in makes the other equally happy. We support each other in everything we do, we encourage each other to go after the things we want, but maybe feel too afraid to try for. We celebrate each other's wins and comfort each other's losses with the same level of devotion, and build each other up to continue pushing forward, knowing we have each other's backs without a second's hesitation. There is NOTHING we can't talk about, there are no feelings or opinions that are taboo, we are the most authentic and open versions of ourselves with each other—and it is SO RESTFUL and BEAUTIFUL.

With a love as strong as ours, who even NEEDS to kiss for us to know our love will last beyond eternity??? Our souls are forever entwined and belong to each other, no physical demonstration of our love would make what we already have mean more to each other. It is beyond categorisation. It is simply love.

We are both so, SO lucky to have that in our lives—and so are Hudson and Connor.
