Honestly what was the point of having Aneesa and Fabiola be together if they were just going to execute it this poorly and have it be so short-lived?? When I saw them kiss I was exited because I saw a lot of potential in that relationship, they could have shown Aneesa struggling with her identity because that would be interesting and consistent with how little experience she has with relationships and how she tries to follow her parent's expectations, but instead, they decided to not bring it up at all and give the queer characters the most boring and pointless storyline I've seen in a while (and don't even get me started on how they basically gave Fabiola another Eve, like either give her a love interest that is not a background character or just let her be single). It makes me think that they just didn`t know what to do with Aneesa's character after she broke up with Ben, I'm pissed.

This is entirely how I see Ted's reaction. So many people seem to headcanon him as a raging bigot, but I don't see it. He's way too passive for something like that to begin with. Instead, Ted is the sort of guy who would stumble on Mike kissing Will and react by saying "huh, well, at least it isn't Dustin. Where's my breakfast?"

And he clearly doesn’t sign his letters ‘sincerely, Mike’ because that would be a reference to s2 ep7 of the spin off of love, simon: love, victor: sincerely, rahim. About a gay guy, and michael wheeler is not gay.
