All six artworks for the warhammer 40k story I penned! Wanted to post them all together when done. These quick arts have helped me to get back into my art grove again in time for artfight c:

Like yeah sure, Grace is happy to be going home once Rocky offers the fuel. But do you think, somewhere in the back of his mind, he's worried about the fact that Grace volunteered for a suicide mission in the first place?

Then more things happen and Grace takes risks that put his life in danger, and yes its so they can complete their mission. But Rocky might still worry that Grace is still trying to die.

But then they succeed. They get the answer to save their worlds, and they each head home. Alone but alive.

Then the taumeoba escape. Rocky knows he is doomed. Unknown if the same fate has met Grace. If this is another opportunity for Grace to die.

But then Grace is there! He's knocking on the door! He came back to save him!

But now he's going to die, because theres not enough food for him to eat to get back to Erid

Rocky figures out a solution. Grace might not be able to eat Rocky's food, but he can eat taumeoba.

But good grief, can his friend stop almost dying? Please?

Do you think Rocky is actually relieved to learn that Grace didn't actually volunteer for the suicide mission. That he had wanted to Not Die so badly he had to be forced to go?

You know where Tiamat was? SHE'S IN HELL. They tried to bring her to Baldur's Gate, and he stopped it. He stopped it! Nono and see this is why you backed Gortash, cuz you lack critical thinking.

Offscren voice: I don't see how that's relevant (repeats)

Cary: You do. You do. You simply do. You- you're completely mischaracterizing this man: he had every chance to just be evil. He coulda been a piece of shit, but he chose light. Where there is surely a path of darkness, he chose light every single time. For 7 years, he went and made a name for himself. As a hero - the Blade of Frontiers. For 7 years.

7 years, a devil in his ear, trying to sway him to a path of darkness, surely. And yet he chose the path of heroism. And you- and you- and you're calling him a fraud? Wyll Ravengard is NOT a fraud. Lorroakan? Fraud. Wyll Ravengard is not a fraud! Not only - not only does he save Baldur's Gate 7 years ago - when he was a teenager, ok? But he comes back with a band of ragtag heroes and helps protect the city from a cultist? The Absolute cultists?

Living in Australia, I'm kinda always at the mercy of my posts lining up with crappy timezones, so when I came back to Tumblr and realised there was a fully in-built post scheduling system, I was very excited...only to happily realise that even with that in mind, Tumblr has a much more 'time-blind' and relaxing approach to posts. It lifts my spirits whenever I see that somebody's gone through my catalogue or liked a post that had been put out days or even weeks ago, and it appears that that's a far more prevalent phenomenon on this site compared to anywhere else. A guy could get used to this more easygoing posting experience, although of course that's all thanks to folks like you! Thank you all. BONUS:

A few weeks ago, friends and colleagues of mine (I was not involved) published this incredible new species of legless skink that makes distinctive zig-zag markings in the sand as it 'swims' through it.

So they called it Zig zag.
