No, bitch, you can't, because your army boots with your suit will sow seeds of doubt. Want to hide a Nazi bunker? Steve knows military etiquette better than you.

He rocks. HE DESTROYED JET WITH ONLY HIS SHIELD. He's a one-man army that works perfectly in a team.

He's adapted to the modern world and ready to move on. He's not hysterically clinging to the past. He makes new friends (Sam) and considers potential relationships on his own ("Kate").

He's not afraid to speak up and to tell someone off, he stands his ground, he's SASSY.

Because publishing houses will not continue printing paper books if libraries are their only customers.

You know, I find it kinda poetic that Steve is wearing his star-spangled outfit on his spontaneous rescue mission in CATFA.

I don't mean because it foreshadows what Steve is about to become. And I don't mean because this is his first heroic deed in the European theatre (the one that will cause him to go from Captain America the Dancing Monkey to Captain America the War Hero), and coincidentally, he was already wearing his superhero suit for it, even though he was barely aware of it at all.

What I mean is, that star on his chest, peeking out of his jacket just enough,

I rather feel like it perfectly encapsulates who Steve has been all along.

Steve has always possessed the qualities that make a capital H hero: he's a good man, he's brave, he's smart, he's got a strong sense of justice and a great big heart of solid gold, he's selfless, he's compassionate, he's a fighter, he's stubborn enough not to give up even in the direst of circumstances, and he's absolutely willing to sacrifice himself if it means saving someone else in the process.

And all of these qualities were always there, visible to those willing to see them (like Bucky, like Erskine); they just went unnoticed for the most part.
