"if Jax is a trans woman she's still an abuser so she's bad representation so the show is transphobic" you're an idiot. you want your blorbos to be perfect ideal angels, I want my blorbos to be realistic, nuanced, flawed human beings, we are not the same. I LIKE that she's messy and fucked up and problematic, I think it's a realistic depiction of how a lot of repressed and traumatized trans women are. I think the show goes to great lengths to explore how and why she is the way she is, and to evoke sympathy for this kind of person. it doesn't excuse her actions but it does make them understandable. and I think the fact women like that deserve sympathy is an idea worth stating and worth shouting. yes she's a bully and she hurt everyone around her and that may never change. she still deserves sympathy.

And another big thing for me is they were still willing to forgive her to an extent after even the button incident, they were pissed but they understood they needed to work together and that touched her. The line that really hits me is pomni saying “make sure you do come back” shen Jax needed some air after the realizations in episode 8

people are so not normal about nsfw artists like its so weird. genuinely i was scared of drawing anything like that because of the way ppl act. your nsfw is private? you're clearly hiding something!! your nsfw is public? but what if a child™ sees it?! you draw something that isnt nsfw or even mildly suggestive but someone decides it is? weird sexually harassing comments

you dont even have to draw anything nsfw if the character is even mildly fat you get a fuck ton of unsolicited comments calling them a "thicc mommy" or some shit

it's funny that "don't engage in the unwanted sexualisation of others" is in the user guidelines because actually sticking to that guideline would mean near-universal protection of transfem bloggers, and yet…

Frankly, I don't buy the theory that the repeated sweeping deletions of trans women's blogs have principally been the product of bad-faith mass reporting campaigns abusing automated moderation. I've been falsely mass-reported before, on multiple occasions, and nothing's ever come of it. Someone is pulling that trigger.
