hello, sorry for the weird ask. your comic about the trans girl getting resurrected in the year 2912 was really moving to me and my friend group. however, me and another person have been up in arms about if the suit could have survived 887 years without decomposing to the point that it couldn't be recognized as a suit. i say it's possible, they say it's too much of a jump. to be clear, we both know that this is entirely not what the story is about, but for the sake of ending the argument could you please expand the lore of this comic a tiny bit so that we can know, once and for all, how the suit survived.

imma be so honest, i didn't put too much thought into it. i'm just very enthusiastic about women wearing suits and i wanted to squeeze it in

that's not to say i didn't research it at all - i remember reading discussions of buried bodies and clothes surviving "a few hundred years" so 887 is indeed a bit of a stretch, but i don't think a ridiculous one. chalk it up to a combo of optimal burial conditions, climate, preservatives, uncommon fabrics; given her remains survive, so too does the suit. the whole comic is pretty realism-adjacent rather than wholly realistic after all
