Wrong. With fiction you can do what you want. Content creators can “normalize” and “glorify” whatever they want without supporting it in real life. They don’t have to handle it in some politically correct way that the two of you are advocating for. If you’re pissing yourself over how they write it then obviously the book isn’t for you and you should put it down and stop trying to tell authors how they’re allowed to write something.

and their view on sex is very… compared with their comments on men, they sound very radfem, to me. obviously, there's nothing wrong with viewing sex as something spiritual and binding, but assuming that only the ✨spiritually pure women✨ are capable of viewing sex this way is sexist and allonormative.

actually there are predators in every community, including the asexual community, not to mention that sexual abuse often isn't committed due to attraction, and is instead rooted in a desire for power, control, and dominance over those who are vulnerable. denying that your community has predators and insinuating that an entire demographic of people actually can't be capable of sexual harm just allows those predators to thrive and fly under the radar, and centring sexual abuse around attraction ignores the reality of sexual abuse, ignores the choice to cause harm that's made by predators, and can demonise attractions as "more" or "less" capable of harm.
