Funniest part about Robin Jason canonically going to heaven is that it implies either 1) Jason didn’t kill Felipe and Bruce completely blew up their relationship for no reason or 2) you’re allowed in heaven after killing someone as long as that someone really deserved it, which would then imply that heaven itself is on Jason’s side in the Jason vs Bruce conflict.

jason and tim can be brothers but they can’t be close because that’s super boring. jason has tim saved under “SCAM LIKELY” and tim doesn’t have jason’s number saved at all. beyond the resentment and the history there they just wouldn’t fuck with each other, endless cycle of ragebaiting and ragebaited switching back and forth whenever they have to interact with one another for more than like 20 minutes at a time and honestly that’s being generous. tim’s friends would resent jason for him being violent and awful but at this point tim would just resent him for being ridiculously irritating. BEST CASE SCENARIO would have them in a tom and jerry dynamic but without the underlying feeling of camaraderie and interdependence that tom and jerry share because tim and jason could go the rest of their lives without seeing each other and truly honest to god would not give a shit. this got really insanely long for no reason idk what my problem is today no one cares

i enjoy tim as robin as much as the next guy, but it is endlessly hilarious how he abandoned the mantel on someone elses whim. bart told him that his new name is drake, here is his costume, no time for questions, and tim saluted said "yessir" and put it on. he wasn't even looking for a new mantel. he's literally robin. except for when bart wants him to be someone else. then he'll offer the typical token protests and go with it almost instantly
