I wanted to do a cute KyoSato drawing for New Years but just haven't had the time or energy to finish anything yet. So, I thought I'd share a silly little AMV I made for Karaoke Iko a couple of months ago!

First and Last trip to the McDonald’s where Satomi-kun and Kyoji-san shared a meal in Famiresu Iko!! Today was it’s last day of operation so it was really now or never 🥲

I came here with the friend I made the first time I came to Kamata, where I struck up a conversation because we were both taking photos of the same spot (the hug point!!) at night.

After eating, we walked around Kamata a little before heading to Shibuya to HMV to the beautiful Karaoke Iko! display 😭

Right now I'm cooking the ingredients for the taǧin... At this stage, I think I'm doing a hundred percent. Tağin is a Moroccan dish with my dad's family. We eat Moroccan cuisine not only as a family, but also treat our neighbors.

Today we used chicken, but you can also use lamb or beef, there are many different variations. It looks like Japanese tantan-nabe and motsu-nabe. I think the tomato base I made today is the best. I made different variations, ate them with couscous, which is similar to rice, or sliced ​​French bread. For me, this is a memorable dish.

WEESA: When we went to France, the participants and I all ate Moroccan food. But I think the taǧin we make at home is the most delicious.

When I think of «homemade food», in addition to taǧin, I also think of kimchi. I still get homemade kimchi sent to me. It seems like my grandmother’s and great-grandmother’s generations all made kimchi and gave it to their neighbors. The taste varies from family to family, in my family they make it slightly sour. And the Japanese version of kimchi is rather sweet. Homemade is close to the kimchi served in yakiniku restaurants.

I think my mother loves to cook. We almost never ate out, and my mother, I think, posted the dishes she made on social media — such a hobby. She made a lot of different dishes for me, but my favorite are pork ribs. The ones with meat on the bone... I think they’re called ribs? (laughs) Well seasoned, I just love them.

a.) What do you think are and Satomi and Kyouji's greatest personality strengths and weaknesses? Why? What do you love about their dynamic? Since what moment that you start shipping them?

Oh my, thank you for the lovely ask, I will try to do it justice!

Personality weaknesses:

-Kyouji: the most passive motherfucker on earth

-Satomi: overthinks within an inch of his life, then does what his gut says anyway. Maybe it's not a weakness since it doesn't hold him back in the end, but he suffers!

Personality strengths:

-Kyouji: I think a lot of his maladaptations are actually strong survival adaptations to particular situations. So...resilience? Ability to compartmentalize and get through?

-Satomi: corollary to above, he may worry a lot about what he should be doing or what might happen, but when it actually comes down to it, he does what feels right to him with a lot of (reckless) courage.

What I love most about their dynamic is that in the end, all the seemingly insurmountable barriers between them don't matter. What matters is the connection, the love, in whatever form it takes.

I started with the anime, which I'm pretty sure I picked up after seeing that briefcase scene gif. So I came in with shipping goggles, haha.
