SUMMARY:
That summer, Dean and Cas found in each other a refuge from the heat and the chaos of their real lives. Believing it would all end once the seasons changed, they allowed the wildfire to consume them. But when Cas gets hired as a professor at St. Charles Academy, where Dean is about to graduate, they need to figure out a way to survive the school year without burning on the flame that lit back when they were living for the hope it all.

Exactly all the reasons why Castiel tended to avoid places like this. But conceited or not, the man was attractive, and it really had been a long time since he'd gotten laid. Besides, the reach of Castiel's self awareness extended enough for him to admit (if only to himself) that he took a particular kind of pleasure in subduing overconfident men, just like this one. “I… I uh, don’t know anything about billiard,” Castiel confessed apologetically, in part just to say something, because he already surmised that fact was not of import.
