please... let me say you something:

that is all stunt!

oh wait... but stunt? why?

first, in marketing, a publicity stunt is a planned event designed to attract the public’s attention to the event’s organizers or their cause. second, it was jeff’s wedding and it was at a private space. just like johanna’s wedding paparazzis photos weren’t allowed, these neither.

but the big because is:

1. the set of dwd is closed, so we’re not having so much content about the movie or harry.

2. if they were caught at the set together, people wouldn’t be suspicious for anything, because they would be literally working.

3. the wedding happened to be the perfect space to stunt something and do their play. if they appeared holding hands, obviously the tabloids would be crazy and speculating lots of rumors. and that in fact happened.

4. theses rumors aren’t going to be confirmed by them but only by an insider who doesn’t even have a name because it was meant to be a “scandal”. they’re not going to confirm or deny anything, is going to be just like the others affairs that harry had.

5. people are going to say that harry got the lead character because he started to date his boss, so for him to start at the hollywood business like that is not a good move. ONLY IF these same people are going to watch the movie to criticize him and realize how his acting was actually good for a beginner.

SO, this is going to be awesome for the movie because is going to be talked a lot and at the view of people. also they always want something to criticize and olivia and harry aren’t going to confirm anything. they might deny it at the promo interviews.

if you don’t remember and you were living in a cave this whole time, in july of 2019, HBO’s tv show Euphoria put a larry cartoon scene representing an explicit fanfic narrative.

since that was a little bit disrespectful, louis showed up pissed off about that and tweeted:

he also talked about that in interview for the guardian saying that he gets the cultural intention but he felt really pissed off about that. not just that but in this same interview he’s questioned about why he and harry “weren’t so close anymore”. but just let’s go to the facts, shall we?

he was going to release walls soon in 2020 and there was already singles and mvs that there’s LOTS of larry things, and those larry narratives were just coming back again. there was a fucking necessity to try to debunk larry theory again, right? right.

louis weren’t so pissed off as he was when that journalist made an article about he’s supporting LGBTQIA+ community and the apple’s logo shirt. he literally just tweeted that and harry? harry didn’t even came to public and talked about this. (and never about larry or his relationship with louis, and if that, you know how his reaction about)

definitely louis was the only one who they taught how to cover louis and harry’s relationship, but we all know that he never did this job so well, and sometimes management had to tweet stuffs for him (in fact i’m straight). they did a pretty bad job for it, cuz there’s still a huge larriebase out there.

about euphoria’s scene, i don’t believe that louis or harry really didn’t know or wasn’t warned about this, because we’re talking about two huge names in music industry and a tv show that is so popular in teen pop culture. and euphoria didn’t need any scandal to be pop, cause already was.

so, no, i don’t think there’s such a thing like “oh but they really didn’t know that they’re figures were going to be used”, ‘cause they could’ve throw a beautiful and well-given legal process on warner and on the director, making them take out this scene on the episode, since they were so bothered about it and they were using their images and names for such a “big stuff” like that.

this would be much more simple than louis going to tweet about that, right? but nah, there wasn’t rumors about any effective action for take that off the air cause it had bothered him.

im not saying that they really wanted this scene being made or they agreed one hundred percent with it, but i’m saying that i don’t believe that this was such a big thing how media was saying. so much is that the director avoids to talk about it, he could’ve made an apologize speech but it’s like there’s no hard feelings there.

as like harry’s thoughts about it, since he never spoke about and it’s like he never ever saw... curious, innit? more curious than that is the idea that he knows the tv show, whereas he knows Zendaya and follows her on instagram (even liked a pic of her receiving the emmy’s award for euphoria’s character). also, zendaya was the one who narrated this episode.

yet, the scene is actually embarrassing, even if they were out or something like that. but in my point of view, that was done with their consents and from their teams too, and they used that to try to drop larry again and get the rumors about louis’ lyric songs and mvs out of larry’s narrative, so as adore you references to larry.
