Admittedly, there are only six etymologies: (a), (d), and (1)-(4). How- ever, as I mentioned before, this contribution represents only the prelimi- nary stage of the research in this area. Consequently, unless these etymol- ogies represent chance resemblances generated by my sick imagination, they are going to be quite significant for the ethno-linguistic history of the North-East Asia. Most of them reflect very basic vocabulary, and its exist- ence as loanwords can only speak of the high intensity of contacts. Given the fact that Tungusic Urheimat could not be in Alaska and Eskimo Ur- heimat in Manchuria, and also that only Northern Tungusic appears to be involved, I think it is rather safe to come to the following conclusions:
