i think i wanna separate from the awv. i had no personal issues with it and i barely know any drama, i just haven't interacted with it in so long + syscourse is draining. i'll probably retheme all my headmate's blogs and urls to separate them from the awv.
i've stayed out of most/all the drama and i plan to keep it that way.

An ego-dystonic persecutor is a persecutory alter who harms another alter or the entire system by representing, behaving, or being against their beliefs, morals, ethics, wants, etc. (Example: A system is anti-generative AI, but their ego-dystonic persecutor actively uses it in order to cause distress to them.)
Ego-dystonic: "of or relating to aspects of one's behavior or attitudes viewed as inconsistent with one's fundamental beliefs and personality".
Does this term/flag already exist? Consider mine a recoin/reflag!

On the left side with the purple and black, I colorpicked it from spiraling-system-flag-coins's persecutor reflag.
On the right, I wanted to utilize Pantone 448 C (the brown), aka the "ugliest color in the world", to represent how upsetting and uncomforting ego-dystonic things can be. I decided to use a yellowish color to compliment the brown so it wasn't quite as much of an eyesore. I initially was going to use a bright yellow-green color that I found hideous, but it just ruined the whole flag, and I felt like I could make it somewhat more visually appealing (even though the point of the right side is to be gross colors).
All in all though, I've never made a flag before, so I hope this is okay! Reflags and recoins are welcome; I may not want my flag to be used by endos, but I don't want to try and "own" the concept.
A Persecutor is an alter/part that inflicts harm on a system in various ways for any reason. They may harm the body, the system's external relationships, other, and even internal communication. A Persecutor may or may not be away of the harm they are inflicting. A Persecutor may think that what they are doing healthy and helpful.
sorry for being inactive on yfiae. a persecutor resurfaced recently and we're trying to figure out how best to help them. we're repeating what we did with an older persecutor that helped, but i'm not sure if it's working or making us worse for this one... they're like an ego-dystonic persecutor? if that makes sense? like they're actively behaving and doing things that are against our beliefs in order to trigger us and make us uncomfortable. i'm not going to get too in detail, but yeah
we read a fic with unexpected angst and it triggered out a fragment who went dormant a while ago and god i'm filled with such overwhelming grief for a woman i don't even know

vent tw, discussion of past parental abuse and suicide baiting
does anyone else feel like they want to traumadump everything they remember to someone/anyone so that that person can decide for you if it was "bad enough"?? usually if i ever loredrop it's the time my mother told me she wanted to kill herself because of me but idk. it feels so mild sometimes. which sounds bad to say, but i think hanging around traumatized spaces has fucked my perception of what experiences are "bad" and "worse". i know that just because people have had it worse than me doesn't devalue my experiences, but it feels that way sometimes. what if it really wasn't that bad? what if i was just an overreacting child? i dunno
i have mixed feelings about my sneezes. i sneeze like my dad, which gender euphoria, but also i hate it because he's a shitty person lol. on a more positive note: my voice has gotten fairly deep as i got older!

I'm gonna be fr i didn't even read their reblog at first and had to read through it to actually know what you were talking about. It's really fucked up that they'd say that stuff to someone.
