I'm so happy acne patches with cute shapes have become normalized. High School me would have killed for something like that. It's the little things that would have made my adolescence just a little bit easier tbh. I'm happy modern kids can feel a bit more secure there

the amazing thing about these patches is not only do they offer kids a tool to not feel so insecure about their acne, but i feel like they've also made all kids less judgmental of acne. with the patches, even though you're hiding the pimple, you're also just embracing it. you're saying "yeah, everyone knows there's a pimple under here, but i don't care, there's a little star over it that'll also help it heal faster". the mindset around acne has shifted so that nobody is really trying to hide anything with concealer or makeup, they're all just accepting that they all have acne. so even when a kid doesn't have a patch, people are less judgmental. because no one's really pretending they're acne-free. it's like totally whatever
