These vegan tiramisu donuts are a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert. Rich cocoa flavor combined with hints of coffee and vanilla make them a perfect treat for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 cup almond milk. 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee. 1 tbsp maple syrup. 1/2 cup powdered sugar for dusting. 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips optional, for garnish. 1 tbsp cocoa powder for garnish.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Prepare a donut pan by greasing it. Mix the cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl with a whisk. Mix the dry ingredients together with the almond milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix everything together well. Put about two thirds of the batter into each donut hole. Bake the donuts for 12 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in one comes out clean. Tear coffee and maple syrup together in a small bowl while the donuts are baking. Allow the donuts to cool for some time after they're done. Next, coat both sides of each donut with the coffee mixture by dipping them in it. Place the dipped donuts on a wire rack to cool all the way down. After the donuts have cooled, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar and, if you want, vegan chocolate chips and cocoa powder on top.
