As lovely as a warm spring morning, with gold-streaked curls and bright amber eyes that seem to notice everything. Aine Morningdew is quite the talented light fairy.

Sure, she's sunny and friendly and shines brightly like most of the fairies clad in yellow, but light doesn't only come from the sun; she knows all the phases of the moon by heart and has the rare ability to read the stars and subtley predict what's to come, often being called upon by Queen Clarion herself to interpret their patterns and omens, or by the other fairies to use her sub-talent and artistic eye to see if the lighting and atmosphere is just right for the coming seasons.

"What happens when shadows and death dance together? You get a really weird mix of street and ballet that leaves their friends baffled."

A recent influx of a dozen new students, only one month into the school year, had taken Nevermore Academy by surprise.

especially considering all but one of them are Specters. And while many of them have already split into their own groups and formed connections as well as rivalries, one haunting realization quickly came to plague each of them.

Every one of them has the same name as a character from the poems by Edgar Allen Poe.

From Lenore, leader of the misfits, Annabel Lee, the quickly rising queen bee, to The Addams-Jelinsky sisters, Helena and Rouge.

Not to mention, they are the same species of outcast, meaning they all lived different lives in the past, but the only memories they can draw after their reincarnations are from dreams, and snippets at that.

And so now they are united under a common goal, Find out: 

Who they were in their past lives.

How they died.

Why they are here now.

And how does this tie to the murders plaguing their town and school?

Helen and Rouge will have to apply their Addams-given detective skills. Because every one of their friends wants closure-

And the answers can be found somewhere in Nevermore's halls.

𝔗𝔯𝔞 𝔩𝔞! 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔐𝔞𝔶! 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔏𝔲𝔰𝔱𝔶 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔱𝔥 𝔬𝔣 𝔐𝔞𝔶!

Every year on the first day of this lovely month, where everyone goes blissfully astray, Queen Guinevere hosts a celebration of sorts where the royal court goes “a-may-ing.” 

The courtiers that don’t attend tend to call the event “a libelous display” and they may not be all wrong: in a sunny clearing in the woods where a sweet fragrance wafts through the air, lords, ladies, knights, and even the royal family wear crowns of flowers instead of jewels, everyone eats and sips wine on picnic blankets, and lovers share gentle kisses in the grass.

𝔓𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔠𝔢𝔰𝔰 ℭ𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔢 herself loves this gorgeous holiday more than any other month in the entire year, where everything is green and floral, her birthday falls on the fifteenth, and all the world is brimming with fun, wholesome, or ‘un’. 

The princess blooms during this time as if she herself were a spring blossom.

She can be seen at these celebrations wearing the most floral dress she owns, twirling in the grass with her feet bare, being blanket-tossed into the sky by her father's knights, or sitting on a blanket with her circle of friends, laughing till her chest hurts.

All the while casting subtle glances at a very shy-looking young lord, and praying that her lad will be a cad.
