Okay I've had this idea for a couple years now and I told my boyfriend the other day and he didn't think it was tuff so I lowkey j slimed him out.

Anyway, so you know how in 2023 RDJ played in Oppenheimer as Lewis Strauss? Well I like to think that during the Blip there wasn't nearly as much crime, and because of their failure to stop Thanos he felt incredibly defeated so he retired and didn't get up to much besides his own personal projects and taking care of his family.

And if you're a big Marvel fan you would know that Howard Stark worked on the Manhattan Project, so I feel that the movie Oppenheimer could've actually been canon in the MCU. So I feel like Tony Stark could've been asked to play his own father in the movie in their universe. Kind of like how here for Michael, Jaffar Jackson who is Michael Jackson's nephew played Michael in that biopic this year.

This would also work timeline wise, considering the movie would've been filmed during the years of the blip and came out in the summer of 2023 in the MCU, just like it did for us. And Tony didn't die until October of 2023 so he would've been alive for the release of the movie.

MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE DR …

the second DR ive established but i wanna post it first. i already love this a lot! the mcu + marvel in general has held a place in my heart since 2025 and the more i watch the more i wanna engage with it :))

LIFE IS ALWAYS A MIXED BAG which is a normal occurrence for Star. Aside from the stresses of moving from the suburban Midwest to the insanity of New York City, plus attending one of the largest universities in the nation (Empire State University), they have gained a new thing to worry about: an internship at Stark Industries. Not only does that mean working with Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, it also means they’ll be working with the Avengers on occasion. As if it wasn’t already strange to bump into Spider-Man and Daredevil sometimes… They won’t freak out. No. Never.

This is an alternative canon! The events of Infinity War/Endgame happen earlier and are handled much more cleanly. The Snap was much shorter since there was much more preparation in place and therefore certain events were prevented from occurring. From that point on occurs the rest of canon, sans the detrimental long-term effects of the Snap. Supposed to be very reminiscent of the earlier MCU with ties still to the current canon in the CR. Also pulls from comic canon and other non-Marvel movies for certain characters.
