Places I scripted into
Jericho, Vermont
(Because being a Nevermore kid isnât so bad)
ê°âČđê± Evening Harvest
There are two farmerâs markets in Jericho. First, Jericho Market. It opens everyday: Sunday to Saturday, 7AM to 1PM. Fresh food, made âholyâ by Normies, yada yada yada. Then the second yet the superior one, Evening Harvest, takes their shift once their business rival closes. Sunday to Monday, 2 PM until midnight.
Evening Harvest is loved by the local outcasts and the Nevermore teens. Normies spread this rumor that their goods are âsecond-hand and unfreshâ which is untrueânot only that the harvests sold here are fresh, itâs cheaper, and VERY inclusive for the outcastsâ needs. They sell legal human blood for the vampires, red meat for the werewolves and white meat for the sirens, tasty well-seasoned honey for the Swarmers, and so much more. The kitchen staff from the academy also got their goods from here.
Locals said Evening Harvest still operates solely because âthe monsters arenât extinct yetâ. Which is true. Donât even bother shopping here on Saturday and Sunday. The Nevermore kids will hoard everything from the snacks section, and the Nevermore staffs will eye all of the fresh harvestsâŠ
ê°âČđê± Bettyâs Apothecary
Online normies would say that Betty's Apothecary is a tourist trap (you know⊠with Jerichoâs branding of yada yada us pilgrims came here, we colonized Jericho, we killed outcasts for you yupp), and that youâll get nothing but âfake herbsâ there. Theyâre WRONG. Again. Bettyâs Apothecary is run by an honest outcast witch who worships Dionysus.
The shop itself is cozyâlike any other apothecary, really. But it has this⊠âwelcomingâ feeling to its shop. All herbs we need for classes or worship can be found here. They also sold multiple tools and utilities you could possibly need, like wands specifically crafted for DaVincis who are practicing their telekinesis.
Betty, the owner of the shop, is a nevermore alumni. Even though we talked behind her back⊠about how odd she is for staying in her high schoolâs little town rather than living anywhere else, we still truly adore her. Sheâs like our older sister beyond the academic walls. She tells us about the newest global outcast gossip, tips and tricks about our school, and so much more. And when she likes us enough? Sheâll sell her weeds to us. (Donât tell Larissa Weems).
ê°âČđê± Books & Spirits
Matching its name, Books & Spirits really is a bookshop that would heal a readerâs spirit. Cozy yet spacious. Endless books. Comfy couches. I never thought that I would need to visit a bookshop once a weekâat least from a reality shifterâs perspective. You see, this reality is different from our CR. There are different dynamics in the world, therefore the writers and the books are also different. Thereâs SO much stuff to read, especially the fiction section. I just love gothic literature, even more in a reality where outcasts live alongside the normies.
Besides its weekly restocked books, Books & Spirits is where the Nevermore kids got their papers and pens. This bookshop sells cute ones. They also sell rare, niche stickers that were made by local artists, which I really love for my journals! I gotta be quick with it, or even pre-order some stuff from there, because Normies would get their hands on their new products first </3 but itâs okay⊠I can sweet-talk the shop-keepers⊠hehe
ê°âČđê± Tipsy Pilgrim
OKAY so I think we can all agree that they ate with the storeâs name??? Tipsy Pilgrim is a liquor store. The rumors are that they kept rebuilding a new liquor store in the same place since the 1800s. Wow. They also have this small little bar area in the back! Amazing for pictures.
Tipsy Pilgrim is like any other liquor store really, but hereâs the catch â they would sell their drinks half the price to Nevermore kids without checking our IDs. Why? Because Outcasts drink a lot. Itâs hard for us to get really drunk, and alcohol doesn't damage our bodies that much. Are we underage? Yes. Do we care about the law? Absolutely not. Hey, in our defense, we only drink to relax, okay? Thereâs no such thing as âblack out drunkâ in our world. Plus we only drink in our dorms or during a Prospero Hall party.
OH ALSO they donât just sell regular boring normies alcohol!! They also sells blood wines for vampires, which is reallyyyy nice :3 I always have them in stock in my dorm. If you want a glass just knock on my door. Again, donât tell Weems.
ê°âČđê± Velvetâs Comb
Oh my god. One of my favorite places. Velvetâs Comb is not just a regular hair salon, itâs an EVERYTHING salon. You can get hair, eyelash, nails done in this one place. Thereâs barely any queue because of its large space and multiple staff who knows what theyâre doing.
The place itself is nicely decorated. Its interior and exterior is very gothic if you ask me. Itâs like the whole salon is marketed for outcasts, you know? Canât blame them. Weâd spend much more money on us than normies would ever be.
Their staff are underrated beauty artists. They know how to make the girls and the gays pretty. I always left Velvet Comb feeling like the finest vampire on earth. The amount of compliments I receive coming back to the academy is insane. If you want a friend for an appointment just call me!! Iâll be there.
ê°âČđê± Outcast Lane
Outcast Lane is our biggest source of entertainment yet. A bowling alley, an arcade, and a movie cinema all in one place. Itâs a big building with flashy neon interiors. I donât know what else to say LMAO. Wait, maybe I do. OKAY so the lore of this place is that it was made by an outcast hater. Thatâs why itâs called Outcast Lane. The decors used to be extremely problematic before a business vampire woman brought it in the 70s and made it the way it is.
Just know that weâll be extremely exhausted after spending time in this place. Or overstimulated if you spend too much time there.
AHHHH it's finally here! A lot of you guys turns out want to hear me yap more about my Wednesday / Vampire DR HEHEHE soooo here it is!! Yes it's inspired by Hogwarts shifters and their Hogsmeade contents :3
