Even if I'm not thrilled to compare a character I adore to a character I don't, I think sua and luka are extremely similar characters and that's what makes round 5 and mizi's reaction to it so significant. Ruler of my heart isn't just a song performed by luka, written for hyuna, sang to mizi in imitation of sua - it is simultaneously a love letter from sua to mizi. (And let's not forget sua and luka being adored as royalty and yet simultaneously raised as expendable, interchangeable dolls and thus projecting this behaviour onto mizi and hyuna by clinging onto them and being willing to destroy the both of them in the process if it means keeping this illusion of their relationship as a safe haven, where they get to play owner and their partners are almost like dolls they can have to find sanctity)

Given KSE in part 3 is currently actively worrying about everyone involved in Director Ho's project, here's a quick run down of everyone involved, and their status at the end of Part 2
Did I get everyone?
Team Present/involved in Sending KSE Home
Choi* - left with the mystery of K.LEE's handwritten note and his role in the Segwang disaster. And like.... so much team-related trauma.
Agent Haegeum^ - left with the mystery of who exactly was it in the higher up that gave the order to seal Segwang, I guess. Also Hong-unnie should be up. And Blue Dragon team is back... (these aren't very Haegeum specific, true for all agents in general). Also she and J3 were in the same space, though idk if she recognised J3 as Agent Wolf who presumably once tried to recruit her to Daydream when she was young.
Ryu Jaegwan* - back to normal, now knows the agents who inspired him to join were Podo and Choi. Ended up being personally helped by 'evil Daydream agents' - Lee Jaheon, Eun Haje and even Ho as the Counselor. Possibly reasons to have faith in the Bureau shaken.
Braun^ - Well, he was fine and shiny and thriving, though soon to be Friend-less (for a while)
Lee Jaheon** - Newly learnt the experience of being an individual apart from 'Us'. Still have Park Minseong to take care of. Left with all of KSE's debt to the alien shop. Presumably still paying off the storage cost for the Church scripture.
Eun Haje* - New connections with the Bureau, esp. deepened connection with Bronze. Still has to take care of PMS. She had supposedly fulfilled her wish and resigned from the main company, but we still don't know why she joined Ho's team, and if that's still something she needs. We also don't know what happened to get contract with Ho / the Nine Fox Disease affliction.
Lee Seonghae* - She had already collected enough points for a wish, even without counting the Dream Essence she gave up for KSE. She was last trying to figure out how to word her wish, and she had also accompanied GYE to her home.
J3* - It was said that breaking Cheong's authority to make contracts had broken all of her contracts with the Security Team, and so ideally J3 should have been free of Daydream. During Segwang he had also briefly tasted being 'Agent Wolf' again, and presumably now knows a bit more about his past than he did before. He also found the video that contaminated him and his team in Hanbit Library and seemed to be keen to explore that (the feeling i got was he wanted to find his missing teammates but idk he could have been re-inspired to try and decontaminate himself)
Baek Saheon* - Left no longer able to close his eye (literally. he literally did that when KSE 'infiltrated' Daydream as that one researcher) to the identity of the Agent. Gave up points for KSE and still owed a bunch of items from the Agent. But idk how much he knows about what was KSE's wish and him coming from another world.
Go Yeoungeon^ - Reunited with her mom, her dad is in long term counselling with Ho. She was still missing one finger from the Body Casino. She had been a prospective agent, but given that that had been done purely to prevent her memory from being wiped, and given her anger at the DMB for what they did to Segwang, idk if she would have continued. But if it was the only way to keep her memory, she might. And then being her relentless self trying to dig up who was the one to give the order for Segwang, maybe?

Others involved in Chasing Ggweongcheol:
Agent Chogae - Unknown. He was mentioned to be the 'main body' of the agent whose remnant/reflection was at the Dokkaebi Workshop and fixed KSE's popsocket. But after KSE got reconstituted as goop, he was also curious about what happened with him - whether he got out of Segwang properly, and whether he would 'merge' with the Dokkaebi 'self' - we don't have any answers though. Either way, Agent Chogae and the rest of Blue Dragon team have to wrestle with a. the amount of time passed and b. what the agency did to them and the citizens of Segwang.
Blue Dragon - He was whole again, he got back his Yeouiju from Cheong, and with the release of the Blue Dragon team at DMB, he also has his symbiotic relationship with humans back. IDK if he's also still moonlighting as Blue Mascot of the Theme Park though.
Jang Heowoon and Kim Heowoon - present in contaminated state. They were still dead and contaminated, last we saw them. And they were also no longer within Segwang's influence of giving them back their personalities, so they were in full Resort Employee mode.
Ho Yuwon - He's being everyone's dead wife during this part. In long-term counselling session with KSE and the citizens of Segwang.
Additional (named/semi-significant) Project Ho Team not present during this part
Park Minseong - He was still contaminated, and now ejected from the Fox Counseling Center. But also doesn't have the contract with Cheong anymore.
Kwak Jegang and Lee Yeonhwa - They were in the monorail before Things Went Down in Segwang. KJG still has a contract with KSE.
Jin Nasol and Kang Hiyak - In part 2, their last bit of involvement with the Segwang Project was the exploration they did under Haegeum's leadership to close down The Body Casino. Their last mention is LSH mentioning that Butterfly also almost has enough points for a Wish Ticket (π₯²) and that Pony is well again (from her contamination during the Body Casino exploration) and hanging out near the Body Casino again and looks like she's not going to live long lol.
I know we're all waiting for the big characters to show up, but I have to admit, I am so so curious what my favorite character, kang yihak (ms pony), has been doing these past 3 years. Has she died? Been promoted (it would be reallllyyy funny if she took Jin nasol's spot), or did she quit once she got her wish ticket? It would also be really funny if she's now on the security team because of some gold related darkness. Pleaseeeee let us get some pony content soon OTL
yes people have been talking about kim dokja parasitizing yoo joonghyuk but consider han sooyoung crawling inside kim dokjas corpse to make him live again. if she can inhabit his mind, speak with his voice, tell his story and tell it in a way that maybe he might agree... if she could climb inside every neuron of his brain and every fiber of his heart and make a story out of it that he would love... maybe then his corpse might rise up again and speak without her needing to puppet his tongue

sometimes i have strong opinions but they're also so inane that halfway through writing a post i'll be like "yeah, this is Absolutely not worth the energy it's taking" and delete everything. but then the opinion is still in my head. and i still want to share it. so within five minutes i go "you know, i bet i can phrase it more succinctly this time" and anyway. you all see where this is going. sometimes i do this four times in a row before i give up on the specific inane opinion and instead write a vague post about the concept of opinions as if that'll satisfy the urge to post the entirety of my inner monologue online. may or may not be relevant to what you're reading right now. and now all our lives have been enriched. you're welcome
