I retooled my tools… I had rendering brushes that couldn’t render and blending tools that couldn’t blend. None of this was done with my usual lasso/airbrush combo, and I think it came out good because I actually got to paint it up properly. I also used a super boring generic brush for the lines. Boring as it was, it also failed to get in my way and that counts for a lot. Bland thin linework doesn’t tend to fight with the colors.
