You have the option to redo your life from any point but with full memory* and no trauma effects from it. What age do you choose?
0-3 years old
3-7 years old
8-13 years old
13-18 years old
18-21 years old
21-25 years old
25+ years old
I wouldnât, set me free
*As of the moment you first read this poll. Unless you already have specific winning lottery numbers memorized you arenât going back with that knowledge. You can remember the majority of the information from your prior life, but it wonât cause traumatic/PTSD effects - itâll feel like youâre remembering someone elseâs story in great detail. Unless you do something to change it specifically, all world events will remain the same including major economic events, wars/famine/pandemics, etc.
Anything can be changed if you can figure out a way to start the change yourself, however.
5 is a perfect age to wake up with full memories of your adult life, i have given this so much thought. The trick is to act like a normal 5 year old, don't excel in elementary school, stay a C student. If u don't then people'll think you're some fucking prodigy, and you won't be able to enjoy your second childhood because they'll be dragging you around and have all these expectations of you
You know, "oh we have to make sure your talents don't go to waste! we have to nurture your intelligence!" and now your school is insisting you be bumped up a grade or two, your family is paying for special tutors or even fucking bankrolling you into a fancy expensive school for smarty special kids and now thats your whole fucking life
no you wanna be so fucking average a child, so low maintenance, that you practically fade into the background. Come up with things to be hyper fixated on like a normal kid would, while hiding your real likes. This is so when you're being punished for somthing, your parents'll be all "OK ASSHOLE, NO MORE POWER RANGERS!" and you'll be there all:
Don't talk like an adult, don't try to be too mature, do this and you can breeze through childhood without being hassled. No, you wanna be as "average" as possible until your first year of highschool, because thats when grades and intelligence actually "matter"
Nothing you do in elementary school or middle school actually "matters" if that makes sense. As long as you aren't failing grade wise or making yourself a terror/pain in the ass, being a C student (yeah yeah throw in some Bs and an A once in a blue moon) is the way to go because its not like you're gonna get fired from school if you're just coasting right
Will your family be on your ass to improve grade wise? Yep, and thats why the whole "fake liking things" deal is so important, they'll be all "IF YOU DON'T IMPROVE THEN YOU LOSE BEANIE BABY/MINECRAFT PRIVILAGES" or whatever. Pretend to have a favorite show so they can deny you it when they get mad about whatever and so on. You do all this to keep the frustration that is "your parents control your entire life" at a minimum and keep them thinking they're still in charge
Eventually when you reach 10-15 your fam will be locked in on this "you" thats the "real" you, but when you enter highschool?
Now drop the pretense and act like your adult real self. fucking blow everyone away and get those grades up to get a full college scholarship
theres more, i'm not even mentioning the whole "using your future knowledge to secure a life of financial security and possibly even your dream life" but this is just a light summery of how i'd go about the whole "I'm 5 again but with my adult memories" scenario
