Very much blows my mind when people infantilise Doctor Ryland Grace, a man who canonically told someone they were a waste of carbon (ie kys fucken lmao), took mystery pills (presumably in college) from strangers, literally got into a bitching match seconds after meeting Dr Lokken and ignored Armando when he woke up in favour of getting fucking drunk

Hey um so since Eridians basically stop moving or breathing or showing signs of life when they sleep maybe it’s hard to tell when they die. So Rocky sat there for days, forcing himself to stay awake because he could not fathom that they were all dead. He stayed up because he was the last and someone had to watch them. Eventually his body gave out and he slept for the first time knowing no one was watching. I wonder if he thinks it’s his fault they passed because he was the last one awake and should have kept watching them…I wonder how long it took before he finally admitted they were gone and threw the bodies into space…

love how Rocky is always serving main character energy. dude steps up and leaves their smoking hot mate to go on a noble quest. Then everyone dies mysteriously and a fucking alien shows up who is somehow smart but also dumb as hell. So now bro has a lovable sidekick and you two save each other through the power of friendship multiple times. Then you figure out a way to save the fucking world and you get to go back home a hero. And your funny bestie alien sidekick comes with you because he thinks you're so cool. Rockys life is a movie. He's a legend.
