HELLOOOO i just finished rounders, i have seen primal fear, death to smoochy, glass onion, the invite and tonight im going to watch either keeping the faith or the 25th hour .. so i’d say i haven’t seen too many yet, but my favorites r death to smoochy and rounders. both his characters in those films are so fun i love sheldon mopes and his joyful spirit i love how worm is able to just allow himself to be beaten the fuck up for cheating at poker and wooow hes super cool. i especially love death to smoochy because i got to talk to a few people who had actually worked on the movie it’s such a funny concept of a film i love it

epic thrift store find

i was passing by the DVD section and i wasn’t even looking for fight club, but it happened to be the first DVD i touched when i was going to start browsing the shelves and didn’t even notice it, so that was pretty cool. coincidentally, it was placed next to a copy of the adventures of ozzie and harriet which was next to a nature film about penguins. was that intentional ?? maybe ..

as for the 25th hour, there was an entire section of other edward norton movies. not labeled or anything, but definitely stocked like that on purpose. the illusionist, the italian job, glass onion, hulk, motherless brooklyn, kingdom of heaven etc. i told a group of people who were picking out dvds for their movie night that they should choose from this section. if primal fear were there it would have also gone home with me

Hellohellohello what did you think about the invite 😁😁 i just finished it and I genuinely haven’t laughed so hard in ages, but also at the end my face was just constantly being flooded by tears for like 20 minutes, this movie is so insane holy shit

HELLO HELLO i loved the invite! before watching, i thought, i don’t think i’m gonna like this, but I’ll watch it anyway. i honestly thought it was going to be pretty bland, but that all changed. seth carried the film with his jokes and the tension and awkwardness of the entire situation made it such a good film because it was so realistic and not overdone at all. i liked that i actually felt anticipation and felt scared watching angela’s every move… when the four of them finally settled and were laughing about their predicament i felt like i was in their conversation laughing with them. like i was intruding something and it was delightful. pína and hawk have such a good dynamic and i would definitely want to be friends with them . this was a great movie to watch as a teenager because it’s like i’m getting a glimpse of adult life. the hardships of marriage. i mean, i was telling my friends, can you imagine what the couples who came to watch this film together are thinking right now? awkward, right? but i absolutely loved it and watching it twice made a lot of small details make sense to me. was not boring at all, even though i had expected more. it was satisfying. !!

went to go see the invite in theaters again except i dragged my three friends along with me. i have never laughed so hard at a movie ever and i fuckin loved watching the reactions on my friends’ faces… this is your sign to go watch a movie with your best buds everyone ! (^_-)

ps be discreet if you decide to bring your entire fucking mongolian bbq order into the theater . they kicked my friend out and made her leave it outside . just sitting there all sad

tyler is still gone. he’s gone, but a space monkey comes up to the narrator, holding a small bundle of flowers in one fist. pretty flowers. dandelion, baby’s breath, chamomile blooms, a few sprigs of herbs mixed in. these flowers, grown with an awful mixture in the soil.

“for you, sir,” the space monkey says.

“for me?”

a nod. dirt flakes from the roots onto the porch. the space monkey drops the little bouquet into narrator’s hands.

“he said if anybody asked, they’re just flowers.”

walking back inside the house, he runs his thumb over the tiny chamomile blossoms. shakes the dirt off. tyler had grown them in poisoned earth and they were so beautiful.

he wonders when tyler will come back.
