Enjoy the rich and fudgy flavor of these chocolate fudge cookies. These cookies are a delightful treat for any occasion, with a perfect balance of chocolate and a hint of nuts.
Ingredients: 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1/3 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons cocoa powder. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Use a bowl that can go in the microwave and melt the butter and chocolate chips in 20-second bursts, stirring between each one. Do this until the mixture is smooth. Mix the cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and flour in a different bowl using a whisk. The granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract should be mixed well in a different bowl. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar and egg mixture slowly while mixing well. Just until it's all mixed together, fold in the dry flour mixture. You can add chopped nuts if you want to. Place spoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet that has been prepared. After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the middles are still a little soft. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way.
