why does scooter have the motel key in season 1? am i just really blind and dont remember bc i still can’t connect the dots on why he would have like a lot of money and a gun in a motel when he has a house with his wife. am i missing something???? please explain :DD

I want JJ comforting Kie as much as you do. I think he’s so good at it without realizing it already, but him thinking he’s not, and can’t do it right, and she just wants him there with her I-. He can’t imagine someone finding comfort in him, in his presence, in his jokes. But it’s everything to her.
No bc him comforting Kie is so important for both of them. Whether intentional on their part or not, Kie is always showing up for the boys. She is always there to comfort them in their time of need and make sure they know they're not alone, like when JB listened to his dad on the tape recorder or when JJ broke down in the hot tub, but there's never anyone really showing up for her or telling her it's going to be okay when she's going through shit. They kinda dismiss whatever problems she has as just kook problems - she's rich so it doesn't matter, her parents are probably blowing things out of proportions and her problems are almost made to be feel as not real.
So JJ comforting her in her time of need will be so important for her to feel validated and that her feelings are real and okay and important. That it's okay for her to feel the way she does, and that her feelings are not disposable just because her parents have more money than other people.
For JJ, it means him understanding that he matters so much to someone that his mere presence in their life can bring comfort. For JJ to see that he can make Kiara feel better just by being there, and that he doesn't have to do anything other than be himself and stay with her, and that she's not expecting more than that from him - he doesn't have to do anything to "earn" her love, in a way, which is very much JJ's love language - acts of service - except the only act here is just him being him. She doesn't need more than that.

i love how when i was watching season 3, i was like ‘finally, they arent fugitives’, then jb decides its to nice like that and he needs to beat up topper and now we have left the season with him being on the run- (other then the time jump *cue dramatic side eye*) atleast we got jiaraaaaa :DD!!! have a wonderful dayyy! <33

OBX s4 ideas?
• flashbacks throughout the season of stuff we missed between the time jump. maybe show us some jiara missing scenes, show us jarah starting up their surf shop
• Rafe full villain mode now. with Ward being dead, there's no way Rafe won't blame Sarah (who he instructed to keep his father safe). I feel like Rafe will either go completely nuts or take a 360 turn as a good guy. good guy feels unlikely. he'll probably get that arc once he's done some more horrible things in the name of his father
• vengeful Topper on Team!Rafe since ya boys now a full fledged arsonist tsk tsk
• Kie and JJ are together, but they're gonna have a rocky season OR they're not together and we have to watch them work stuff out to go back to each other again. considering we already watched all s3 will they/won't they my guess is just a rocky season. jarah has been through too much for them to be the rocky relationship anymore and JJ is too damaged for their not to be difficulties to overcome. Kie's parents, for one.
• jiara still be jiara. super casual about it all when with the pogues because they're still best friends, only when they're alone they get into a little more trouble ;)
• the pogues all dealing with a little bit of a identity crisis. they're rich but still pogues and still treated like pogues for the most part, and they'll have to figure out where they fit in now as young adults
• this is a longshot but always my dream: JJs mom comes back and turns out that Sarah and JJ are siblings
• they'll a be dealing with adulthood now and it'll be weird for them. jiara and jarah will have to face how to be in a mature relationship where they both have jobs and lives, and they'll have to now deal with their careers getting in the way of treasure hunting rather than school and parents
• JJ is going to try really hard not to screw stuff up with Kie and act on his natural self destructive tendencies and I think s4 might really focus on how damaged JJ really is, having to face those demons head on if he wants to really be with Kie.
• I would do anything for some pure full-pogue crew scenes, all of them just together and living life, dancing, laughing on JJs new boat
• Kie will still be working things out with her parents. she'll probably have some serious trust issues and probably a lot of fights.
• Jarah gets legally married. I would CRY for a Jarah wedding oh my god. And JJ and Pope the groomsmen and Sarah and Cleo the bridesmaids and JJ crying as John B gives his vows ALSO crying and Pope's dad marries them 😭😭 I literally would cry so hard it needs to happen.
• and meanwhile they'll still be trying to find Blackbeards treasure, which I am excited about because it isn't a personal treasure to find at this point. they're literally just looking for it because they love the hunt and they're a bunch of adrenaline junkies. there's no "if we don't find it I'll die of starvation" or "it belonged to my family legacy" mentality connected to it, so it makes the opportunity for seeing other characters growth much easier. I'm excited
• the Pogues being like official treasure hunters now, and JJ makes jokes about their new team name (bad ones only) and acts like they need to do a vlog and share it to the world.
• John B rebuilds the chateau with his new fortune and the Pogues still do most their hanging out there. JJ lives in his boat but he also docks it at John Bs dock and spends most his time annoying Sarah and John B, who I predict live together
• this season will likely happen the summer before Pope goes off to school, so directly after s3 ends. OBX is known for taking three months max in a time span for a season and Pope going to school will complicate things. if the show got a s5, they would either have to time jump AGAIN or only take place in the summer so Pope will still be there for the treasure hunting.
• Cleo and Pope will have to figure out what they really mean to each other, since Pope is going to school. my guess is the break up because of him leaving, but by the end they decide that's stupid and get back together.

personally, i dont ship riara. simply because they are such different people who deeply despise each other lol. the actors work together really well i think and id love to see more scenes with them, just not really as romantic interests. plus like a revenge scene from rafe, he said he would find her or smth…one thing i dont want is a love triangle between rafe x kiara x jj. i just want jiara to be happy. but i do admit, if jj like never existed i would prob ship riara ngl… or think kie is bi or smth! and now i have written a whole paragraph for some reason bc i have nothing better to do-! look at me getting off topic-. anyways, i will never be negative towards peoples ships even if i don’t necessarily ship them. thanks for asking! have a wonderful day :D

i totally thought they weren’t gonna send kie to wilderness camp and it was just gonna be a threat hanging over her head ngl-, then all the kitty hawk stuff came out, and i wasn’t a big fan of them sending her there bc i thought it was just super random and it would be weird and separate the pogues for awhile (spoiler: they did that anyway *cue dramatic side eye*) but now…WE GOT JIARA AND THEY KISSED AND HE RESCUED HER AND THEY SO HAPPY AND THEY CONFESSED THEIR UNDYING LOVE FOR EACHOTHERRRR (okay..maybe i’m going a little crazy..) so i’m really glad they did send her to kitty hawk for the plot of it (the plot: jiara) but i hate mike and anna for doing something like that to their daughter who TOLD THEM she got abducted, yet they still let them like strangle her into a car and said they were gonna medicate her????? like it was just like a repeat- someone give her a hug- but like it shows how far our predictions are from the actual show! and i’m actually really happy with season 3! i think it was great, but could use improvement, like maybe more pogue scenes together. but i don’t think we should hate on it for its not so good parts, but be happy and get excited over the good parts we got! the writers aren’t perfect, and can’t know what everyone wants when they are writing it. have a wonderful day y’all ❤️

i love how ironic 3x07 is. its called “happy anniversary”, yet jarah b breaks up and jiara gets in a fight all while the anniversary party is going on- and then cleope just looking through some family heirlooms or something being happy and unproblematic. i still love the jiara fight tho. (but can we stop the sarah x topper x john b triangle, im fine with love triangles if its like 1 season, but we have been doing the same dance for 30 episodes- lets try something new-) so overall, i dknt think it was a very “happy anniversary”. thank you for listening to my random thoughts , have a nice day :)
spoilers ahead for outer banks season 3!!
lets talk season 3! so i personally really like the season! (besides big john, but we will get to that later) i loved the vibes it gave off! and we got jiara AND cleope!!! so lets start with what i loved, i really like the barbados scenes, which are like the first 2 episodes. i loved the rafe and kie scenes (im NOT a riara shipper but you do you boo) im really glad they stuck to them hating each other. also im glad that kie actually looked scared and acted scared bc she is kidnapped by a man who is threatening killing her if she doesn’t give him a diary???!!!? + she also kidnapped with her like sworn enemy who is also a killer and isnt aware of his next move. i also loved the island scenes and wish we got more :(. i loved episode 5! the train sequence was really interesting and i was laughing so hard when cleope tried to convince the police guy (so good at explaining ik ik) they were in love (but we all know they already were) and the motorcycle scenes were my favorite! the scene after jj crashed his motorcycle was also a great one! + im so glad sarah got a hug with jj rooting for cambank sibling. the “dont ever do that again” 😩✋✋😭 . i loved episode 7 too! the topper and kie interactions 💀 also the fight with jiara was AMAZING!!!! kie looked so defeated when he said it wasn’t gonna work 😭. i loved the music after the fight too (kinda random lol). for the things i wished were different…to start, big john. tbh i liked im better dead. he had WAY TO MUCH screen time! i just wanted clarification that he showered at some point this season his beard was giving me ickk. another thing, i wanted more angsty, emotional scenes. these kids have been through SO MUCH!! they showed a little bit of jj’s mental health but it was like 1/4. im glad they showed more of sarah’s as well! but i really wanted to see more of kiaras emotional side (i am kinda biased) but like she has almost drowned in the MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN holding her best friends dead weight in her arms for a LONG TIME after he got hit on the head most likely suffering from a concussion, she has almost drowned in a sewer, she has betrayed her parents trust but then again its as much their fault that it is hers, she lost 2 of her best friends only to find out they were alive again like a few months later, she has been shot at multiple times, she was kinda guilt tripped into a relationship with pope (no offense to pope, again it was both their faults), she has been abducted twice first by saving someones life then being strangled to go to this killers house, second by being strangled the same way with her parents sitting there watching her to be sent to this wilderness camp that was gonna put her on medication, also rafe said that he was gonna find her and get revenge on her-, she was rejected by the person she lovesss 😍😍 and kept on trying (but thats gotta hurt), she also was called a kook by her best friend, she knew he didn’t mean it but, she has always had trouble fitting in and wanted to be a pogue and rafe also called her “at least half kook” so thats also gotta hurt, and like so much more so I WANTED A BREAKDOWN SCENE >:( (preferably with jj comforting her ) reverse hot-tub scene anyone?? but i also wanted more scenes with all the pogues. this season felt like a constant high and i think there needed to be a break where everyone can just BE HAPPY!!! also like the 4 original pogues scenes pleasee :)! i HATED the stopper cheating scenes (their ship names stopper for a reason-) i just want jarah b to be happy and together for at least one season-, thats all i’m asking. i think overall we needed more pogues being there for each other and comforting each others. also i didn’t like the time jump-, although i’m glad the pogues got a win, i don’t want them to be separated next season. i have run out of space now and have been writing this for 45 minutes but what are your thoughts? id love to know! :)
