I’m so mad that a t4 bacteriophage actually looks like that and that it’s appearance isn’t made up
this is how they look in all the models
this is how they actually look
like they really fucking look like that. in real life
viruses are literally such bullshit they have the nerve to look like this and they aren’t even ALIVE
I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE SHITTY AND ARBITRARY DEFINITION OF LIFE THAT MAKES VIRUSES NOT ALIVE. FUCK YOU THEY ARE ALIVE
Things are heating up in the virus fandom
thats called a fever
Pluto's still a major planet and viruses are alive both have the same anti-intellectual sentiment of imposing feelings as fact in order to shut down any potentially interesting conversations where people could learn.

Buzz buzz, bitch, when was penicillin discovered? Speak up!~
Your posts about planned parenthood and racial medical brutality reminded me of this book that was required reading for my AP Biology class, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. I was wondering if you had read it and/or had any thoughts about it? I think an especially tragic part of the book is the way her family is hounded by the general public because of the extremely cutting-edge innovations made with HeLa cells despite the fact that nobody ever really explained what they had done with Henrietta.
I haven't read it, but I absolutely know the story, yes. It's come up a few times on the page as well. What thoughts do you think I have lol, it's one of many many MANY examples of human experimentation done at the expense of Black bodies (with no credit) for "the greater good", as we discussed today.
see unfortunately I have this condition where if I am not explicitly told that I am a part of the ingroup then I will assume I must be part of the outgroup

Gripping the nape of your neck and massaging it with firm hands, to express the difference in our strength (romantically)
in the mood to be held at gunpoint [sexually]
*gripping my right eye, swaying* this is it! My powers are coming into fruition, finally! *Groans and falls over, a 'TOTAL K.O.' appears over my head*
The more we try to become okay with the word 'please' the more we notice it and start to grit our teeth against it again. It's such a simple, common word, sometimes it spills forth so easily from our own tongue in thunderous roars, sometimes through choked, half-sobs... It's a word we struggle with, kick at, in some fleeting resistance against. No one will ever fully stop using it, it's too hard and much too common a useful word... And I think that's an insidious part of it. The thorns it buries inside of us is something that must be inflicted by the view of most others, why that's the way they were raised! It's become thoroughly ingrained! It's polite. So to press against it not only forces us to
A.) divulge trauma, because rarely do people accept our requests without it.
B.) pause conversations, or upset people for calling them on the use of it later. It is uncomfortable for us for the times we've been called a bitch about it to our faces directly.
C.) Become ensnared in the fuss of bringing it up thusly creating yet another focus on it, when really it's not that hard to just not say.
D.) makes us look petty and unreasonable when we are upset by an otherwise fine request.
So many people use it... Everyone, we know, in fact, uses it. No one will stop using it. It's upsetting. I don't like the word. None of us like being reminded it was his favorite thing to hear us say... But
I guess we have to live with it.

Me, passing a car covered in horny thirst-trap anime girl stickers: while I personally find this to be cringe, given the national push for censorship, I must concede that this is technically Praxis.
