those “i don’t have 2020 vision” posts were right. i literally never could have told you this is how the year would go

My favorite thing about Buzzfeed Unsolved’s dynamic is that Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej both release completely opposite yet equally chaotic vibes. Ryan gets legitimately frightened at Shane’s complete nonchalance at the possibility of finding human remains in the woods; in the very next sentence, Ryan asserts that hair grows directly through a human skull, something that offends and baffles Shane to the point where he makes fun of him for the next thirty seconds. 

the hunger games was genuinely one of the most powerful and compelling commentaries on mass media, the glorification of violence, war culture, imperialism, and capitalism that western culture has ever produced and i will never forgive hollywood for turning it into exactly what the Games were supposed to represent in the first place

Here I was expecting some “not all bad things that happen to you are your fault” type pep talk and then that last panel just hit me like cold bucket of ridiculousness. I love it.
