Anyone just ever think how wild it is that we have to have secret blogs in order to speak honestly about our thoughts on sex, gender and womanhood because thinking sex is important and that our essence as human females canât be boiled down to a social identity is now forbidden and considered bigotry.

lots of people seem to forget strikes are SUPPOSED TO negatively impact the economy and inconvenience people. that's how you force the company to give into your demands. it's hitting them where it hurts hardest--their profit.
"About a week ago, I bought a 30 pack of tampons at Target. The brand I bought is called âL.â The tampons are marketed as â100% Organic Cotton Tampons.â
Pretty safe, right? At least thatâs what I thought.
Later that night I scrolled through TikTok and came across a video of a woman explaining her experience with L. tampons.
She used this brand for a couple years but then her period started to last for weeks. After these symptoms continued, she decided to visit a doctor. The gynecologist told her cysts developed in her ovaries. Her prolonged bleeding was a result of the cysts.
The brand she used, L., uses titanium dioxide, an inorganic compound that may cause cancer.
She claimed these tampons caused her to experience prolonged bleeding and develop ovarian cysts. Several other women reacted to this video explaining they use L. tampons and were recently diagnosed with reproductive issues.
Several of these women plan to sue L. for being dishonest about their â100% Organicâ marketing scheme and potentially for causing reproductive harm.
I checked the back of my tampon package and, sure enough, they use titanium dioxide."
What is titanium dioxide?
Titanium Dioxide, or TiO2, is a white coloring agent used in cosmetic products, toothpaste, deodorant, desserts and paint. It makes items white.
There are several health concerns regarding TiO2. The state of New Jersey published a fact sheet in response to the Right To Know about Hazardous Substances. This sheet directly states:
Titanium dioxide can affect you when inhaled.
Titanium dioxide should be handled as a CARCINOGEN with extreme caution.
Titanium dioxide can irritate the lungs.
The International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies titanium dioxide as âpossibly carcinogenic to humans.â Studies show rats develop lung tumors after prolonged exposure of titanium dioxide.
Another study found exposure to nanoparticles of titanium dioxide result in a decrease in embryo development in ovaries of mice. Their findings also suggest a decrease in fertility from TiO2 exposure.
The Environmental Working Group claims TiO2 damages DNA.
European lawmakers recently banned titanium dioxide as a food additive, stating TiO2 is unfit for human consumption. In America, titanium dioxide is widely used and often not even listed in the ingredients.
If you Google this many articles will say that the American FDA considers this to be safe. But when you get to the bottom of each article a lot of the times it says that there really needs to be more testing and there's no correlation AKA not enough people have died from it yet for the company to care.
The company that owns the L brand organic tampon is known evildoer proctor & gamble and has repeatedly claimed it's products are safe. Just like all the other products they recall that they claim safe.

abolishing prisons and focusing on restorative justice is all well and good but when it's said in response to feminists and survivors wondering what the solution is for violent men who rape and assault, i'm sorry that just doesn't cut it. what happens when the justice that a victim wants is her rapist to rot in jail? what if a victim wants her rapist to be separate from society so he can't hurt any more women? what if that's the justice that will help her address her needs? i swear this narrative rests on the idea of being a good victim who wants to give a violent rapist another chance to be a good person, and it's bullshit
i could write books about this but tl;dr leftie circles are full of sexual predators leaning on male privilege to keep their victims silent. the concept of an accountability process for sex crimes the same way there is for idk eg stealing a tv implies that the nature of the crime is the same and that the community at large feels the same way about the crime.
you can't have an accountability process to the community for male rape of a woman if the community at large doesn't really think there's anything wrong with rape.
I (as a male, sorry to cut in here) think prisons should focus more on rehabilitation than separation.
Yes, it may be important to seperate people who have commited violent crimes- not just rape- from society, but letting them rot in shame for 10 years won't do any good. They will come out worse than they got in and will cost more than necessary.
Especially for "small crimes" like stealing, insults or tax crimes there should be social hours and some kind of therapy session, because I think they have a greater effect: you take those people out of their bubble and comfort zone and force them to reflect, that way their shame and resent may eventually turn into insight and benevolence.
I think if you want a society that is more kind you have to teach kindness instead of punishing anything else
i agree with all of that, except for in cases of rape (and perhaps serial killing etc) especially considering that there is an extremely high rate of recidivism (some studies report as high as 88%) among sex offenders. i dont think they should just go away for 10 years, i think if you choose to rape someone you should be exiled from society permanently (i really think they just deserve to die but i dont think the state should have that power.) there are no socioeconomic conditions or extenuating circumstances that force you to rape someone. it's simply a complete and utter disregard for someone's autonomy and in some cases it gives the victim debilitating PTSD and affects them for the rest of their lives. that will not be cured by "giving him another chance."
do you know how many college boys complete "consent" and "sexual harassment" training and then go on to sexually harass, assault and rape their female peers for the next 4 years? do you know how many bosses complete HR training or have whole days off of work to learn that they shouldn't coerce their employees into sex and then go on to do just that? how do you rehabilitate that? and why should victims want them to be rehabilitated? if you make the choice to do that, i think the natural consequence is you lose the chance to participate in society.
This app is so unhinged that I could say that I killed my father and y'all you would give me tips and remind me to drink water. I love you little screen goblins so much.
Genuinely the worst take ever...female prisioners in Nazi concentration camps forced into sex slavery were sex workers. Appeartly the issues wasn't the rape but lack of compensation. Wasn't a war crime, just a labor dispute.
maybe the crew wasnât completely ready for this one in 2019, but iâll stand by it now in 2022.
any woman, any reason. on demand, without apology. i donât support mere abortion reform and i donât support any laws (or, for that matter, social coercion) restricting its access.

Leaks from âprofoundly troublingâ report cause concern as sources say publication is being delayed to avoid political embarrassment
Police rape investigators dismiss women as liars and time-wasters, leaked findings from a Home Office study reveal.
An academic-led inquiry commissioned by the Home Office has found that some police officers investigating allegations of rape and sexual assault believe that a significant number of reports are false and feel frustrated that some victims are âwastingâ their time, political sources have told The Telegraph.
The study, known as Operation Soteria, has examined case files and interviewed police officers in three forces in England. They discovered that some detectives described minor discrepancies or inconsistencies as âfalseâ, which failed to understand how trauma can affect evidence given by victims.
One survey of almost 200 officers in the Metropolitan Police found that only one in four agreed that âvery fewâ reports of rape and sexual assault are untrue, according to well-placed Whitehall sources.
The results of the ÂŁ3.2million Home Office investigation have not yet been made public, but one MP familiar with the findings said they are âprofoundly troublingâ.
Several sources have suggested that publication of the report has been delayed to avoid political embarrassment.
The revelation comes as charities and rape crisis centres have written today to the Home Secretary to express concern that key results from the academic-led inquiry are being âshieldedâ from public scrutiny, saying the information has been available since January.
Police forces â particularly in the Met â are facing mounting scrutiny into their apparent culture of misogyny amid ongoing shock over the death of Sarah Everard, who was murdered by a serving officer.
The police and criminal justice system has also faced pressure over low prosecution and rape conviction rates.
In the 12 months to September last year, only 1.3 per cent of the 63,136 rape offences recorded by police resulted in a suspect being charged.
A Home Office spokesman told The Telegraph that Operation Soteria is âstill in progress and a full evaluation will be conducted at the appropriate timeâ, and that stakeholders are being regularly updated.
But several academics have privately expressed frustration that they are not allowed to discuss these results publicly.
The leaked finding from Operation Soteria states that âonly 26.3 per cent [of officers] agree that very few reports of RASSO (rape and serious sexual offences) are falseâ.
Sources have confirmed that this statistic relates to the Met.
One MP told The Telegraph, âthe attitudes expressed by officers in the research are profoundly troubling, as they suggest greater scrutiny of the victims of crime rather than the perpetrators.â
A spokesman from the Met said that rape is an âabhorrent crimeâ and that all victims of sexual offences âdeserve the best possible response from policeâ.
They said that they encouraged all sexual assault survivors to make a police report, and added: âWe will support you and we will investigate thoroughly.â
Academics leading Operation Soteria have been investigating police handling of sex crimes in three forces â the Met, Avon and Somerset and Durham, with a fourth only recently joining the scheme.
Research from several of these âpilotâ forces is understood to have found that officers incorrectly used the word âfalseâ to refer to cases with only âminor falsehoods or inconsistenciesâ â going against a âtrauma-informed understanding of victim evidenceâ.
Findings are also said to include a frustration that victims are âwastingâ police time, with some officers saying they would like to âcome down harderâ on victims who make âfalseâ reports.
Officersâ âemotional exhaustionâ is being explored as a factor leading to these negative attitudes â with current levels of burnout said to be higher than âfront line medics during Covidâ.
Concerns have been raised that widespread exhaustion, combined with a lack of specialist training, negatively impacts the quality of sex crime investigations.
The Met said that their training for staff handling sex crime cases â including on ârecognising victim traumaâ is continually reviewed.
They said their force was âdetermined to achieve justiceâ for survivors of rape and sexual assault.
The Home Office and Met say they are participating in Operation Soteria to help overcome the challenges faced in police handling of sex crimes, challenges that Scotland Yard say are âreflected nationallyâ.
The Telegraph understands that the Home Office is expected to fund Operation Soteria for a further 12 months, allowing the programme to expand to 14 more police forces. Avon and Somerset have previously highlighted how they launched Operation Bluestone in June 2021 which was designed to improve how they investigate rape cases. This included having a specialist team of trained officers dedicated to investigating rape and serious sexual assault allegations.
A Durham Constabulary spokesman said: âIt is clear that survivors of sexual offences can have the confidence to report to Durham Constabulary and will be treated with respect and sensitivity by our officers when they do.
âIn Durham, the Soteria researchers did not identify a single case over the last four years in which the victim had not been listened to and their evidence taken seriously.
âThey also found a widespread understanding among detectives about pervasive rape myths and a willingness to challenge them whenever and wherever they were encountered.
âBut if we are to deliver justice for survivors and bring about a fundamental improvement in how we deal with rape and sexual offences, then we have to be open to fresh thinking to bring about genuine and sustained changeâ.

I follow the "leave nothing but footprints take nothing but photos" rule of state/national parks yeah because conservation. But also because when I was 11 i read a short story about a girl who went to a museum and stole a bandage flake off a mummy on display with the mentality of "im just one person one piece won't be missed" then at night she was visited by the mummy and it plucked a single hair from her head and then the next night a different mummy took another hair and she realized that there were only so many pieces to her before there would be nothing left and that story was forever wedged in my brain. Anyways leave cool rocks where you find them or the mummies will get you
