like? sanctuary cities, food banks, education funding and curriculum, infrastructure… so much of that is shit y’all claim to care about is happening on a local and state level but then i never see you guys posting reminders that every single year is an election year for those positions. EVERY single year is an election year and some of the most important election moments come from voting in the primaries and choosing the more progressive choice right off the bat.

so, i’m gonna say this again,

every single year is an election year.

every single local and state election can be impacted and decided by a single vote, which could be yours.

and every single local and state politician is responsible for shielding your town, your county, your state from the acts of the president. if you feel your vote is meaningless in presidential elections, fucking VOTE every year for someone who will dismantle said policies as much as they can and protect your people.

if you want to feel you can enact change, start by participating in local and state wide elections. read up on your local news. CARE about your community.
