It's been quite a while since I last posted anything here in tumblr (what with all the juggling that I have to do with both work and law school), and it's quite sad that my come-back post is a goodbye to one of my dearest teachers and colleagues in the Philosophy Department.

Dr. Enerio, thank you for teaching me how to be passionate in my study of Philosophy. You're presence in the philosophy department will surely be missed! I'll surely miss your thoughtfulness, your vintage wine and your wisdom.

This is not a pipe.  I took this quiz in fb What famous painting are you? - or something like that) and the result is this painting. Idk if the result of the quiz is accurate, but I think it's apt for a Philosophy grad like me 

Painted by the surrealist painter Rene Magritte, La Trahison des images (Ceci n'est pas une pipe) was inspired by the belief that "art was not reality but a mere representation of it". Magritte did in fact paint a pipe, however he sought to relay to the viewer that the pipe wasn't actually a pipe but rather an image of the real thing.

A painting perfect for this month of Love ^_^

Probably Gustav Klimt's most famous painting and also the most famous painting in Austria, "The Kiss" depicts "a man and a woman beautifully drawn while sharing a kiss." The man is shown bending down to kiss his lover's welcoming cheek, and the woman, with her eyes closed, is feeling the sweetness of the gesture.  The painting is full of passion, full of emotion and full of intensity.
