Her arm conveniently seeks out a pillow on her way down so she can dramatically cushion her fall, muffle her cries and kick her feet.  Caleb would have found it adorable, but he’s frankly been sick of her attitude. She’s been such a brat every other day and blames him for everything. He couldn’t figure out where she learned to talk to him like that. She never so much as whispered a meek “no” to him until after she took these lessons. Now, she can’t utter a single syllable without a whine or rebuttal. He blames those girls. They have been a bad influence on her behavior.
