girl help i am the most sensitive person you can ever meet but also the most emotionally unavailable person you can ever meet at the exact same time and i’m still trying to make it work somehow

gorgeous timing for me to see this as my shift today is with 1 other person; i always put so much pressure on myself to be perfect (even loooong before ever having a job) and it’s now turned into that same pressure when I’m having to help a line of customers on my own. I’d allow that to weigh heavily on me and I’d pick up my pace, but I need to remember what I told myself before even applying: I’d rather be slow than wrong.

one of the worst adhd things ever is wanting to trick yourself into doing tasks so you make up fake deadlines to give yourself a sense of pressure but then your adhd goes ‘is that a Real deadline with immediate consequences or a fake one to make our life more organized? :/‘ and then you go ‘it’s a fake one to make our life more organized 😔’ and then the task doesn’t get done
