Playing my first game of Old World tonight and I'll be damned if my opponent has a painted and army and I don't! So I slapped some base colors on my boyz, I'll finish painting then later.

We're playing a 500pt game so I can learn the rules. I'm bringing a Big Boss on Boar, 5 Boar Boys, 14 Boys with double hand weapons. 10 Boys with war bows. A Weirdboy Shaman. And 3 Rock Trolls.

My opponent is running Dwarfs I'm super excited!

Instead of summing up the entire game I will describe the charge on turn 2 that decided it.

My Big Boss failed to call the WAAAGH on this turn and I lined the charge up in such a way that only one Boar Boy got the benefits of charging while the other Boy and Big Boss only made supporting attacks with no bonuses. No wounds were dealt and my boss would flee for the remainder of the game!

Overall I had a lot of fun, this game is so much more different than 40k or any of the other wargames I've played. Movement is so so so important. I'm excited to play again hopefully soon!
