playing new vegas properly for the first time is really hammering home just how disappointing fo4 truly is. new vegas feels so authentically like an actual apocalyptic wasteland and the communities and factions are so much more believable and the big choices are often complicated. there's some silliness and larger than life characters but it's about the right amount and still fits the setting as opposed to the corny cartoon wasteland of fo4 where the right and wrong choices are always blindingly obvious and every settlement besides the 2 major ones are painfully generic. and yes I have 100%'d fo4 and all it's DLCs for hundreds of hours but that is besides the point ☝️
