Weapon (musket), rare (requires attunement) ___ This magic musket uses a bolt-loading mechanism. It shoots a bullet propelled by lightning when fired, which emits instantaneous bright light out to a range of 20 feet along the bullet’s path. Attack rolls with this magic weapon are made with advantage if the target is made of metal or is wearing metal armor. In addition, the first target you hit on a turn with it takes an extra 1d6 lightning damage; if you had advantage on the attack roll, you can roll the lightning damage’s die twice and use the higher result. Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement) ___ While wearing this belt, you can use an action to automatically escape from any nonmagical grapple or restraint. In addition, your fists are considered to be “+1 clubs,” allowing you to make unarmed strikes with them as if they were weapons you’re wielding with the normal properties of a club; if your Strength score is 17 or higher, the damage die becomes a d6. Wondrous item, uncommon ___ These magic bagpipes sound like honking geese. You can use an action to play three harsh notes in rapid succession to magically summon a swarm of geese in an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you. Use the swarm of ravens statblock for the geese, except that its hit point maximum is doubled. The swarm takes its turn immediately after yours and attacks the nearest target that it can see. The swarm disappears after 1 minute or when it’s reduced to 0 hit points. Once the bagpipes summon a swarm of geese in this way, it can’t do so again until the next dawn. Wondrous item, rare ___ This golden throne is covered in lion-like embellishments, complete with feet, claws, and mane. It doubles as a single golden lion “figurine of wondrous power,” except that you must touch it when you speak its first command word to cause it to become a lion, and it can’t be used again until 3 days have passed, instead of 7. You can speak its second command word as an action to make the throne stand slightly taller. The chair continues to stand in this way until you or another creature sit in it. If you move more than 30 feet from the throne, it follows you until it is within 30 feet of you, using a walking speed of 30 feet. It takes the shortest route to do so. If prevented from moving, the chair sinks to its normal resting height and becomes inactive. Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by a wizard) ___ This stained leather tome is equal parts spellbook and cookbook. You gain a +5 bonus to any ability check you make using cook’s utensils while attuned to it. When found, the book contains the following spells, which are wizard spells for you while you’re attuned to it: “create food and water”, “goodberry”, “grease”, “heroes’ feast”, and “purify food and drink”. It functions as a spellbook for you, and you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your wizard spells. Armor (studded leather or hide), rare ___ This armor is covered in hardened bones and skeletal fragments. You can use a bonus action while wearing this armor to transform its skeletal remains into a skeleton that’s one size larger than you (a minimum of Large) for 1 minute; you remain inside the skeleton’s chest cavity for the duration. You then gain 1d10 + 20 temporary hit points: the effect ends early if you no longer have these temporary hit points, if you’re no longer within the chest cavity, or if you end the effect using a bonus action. When the effect ends, any remaining temporary hit points are lost, and the skeleton reforms around the armor as you land in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of it. If the effect ends early as a result of you losing these temporary hit points, you must also succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or fall prone. While within the skeleton’s chest cavity, you control it like an extension of your normal form (your AC and other statistics remain the same). When the armor transforms, you can choose to have it wield any weapon you’re holding; any weapon it’s wielding drops to the ground at your feet when the armor returns to its normal form. Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement) ___ This small leather satchel was once used as a witch’s component pouch for her spells. It can still be used as such, although it’s also pierced by six magic needles that function as darts. A creature hit with a thrown dart takes an extra 1d6 poison damage and must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1 minute. When you hit a creature that you poisoned in this way with an attack, it takes an extra 1d6 necrotic damage. A poisoned creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. A creature that succeeds on the saving throw against this effect is immune to it for the next 24 hours. ⚔️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Avalanche Hammer
Weapon (maul or warhammer), very rare ___ This frigid hammer carries a block of unmelting ice from the Everglacier encased in steel. This magic weapon deals an extra 1d4 cold damage to any target it hits, or 2d4 if the target is prone. The hammer grows colder with each strike it makes, which are represented with charges. Each time you hit a creature with the hammer, it gains 1 charge, up to a maximum of 5. An unused charge is lost after 1 minute. 𝘼𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙚. If the hammer has 5 charges, you can slam it on the ground in place of one of your attacks as part of the Attack action, expending all its charges and releasing a pummeling wave of snow and ice in a 15-foot cone. On a failed save, a creature takes 3d6 bludgeoning damage and 3d6 cold damage and is pushed up to 10 feet away from you and knocked prone. Scroll, uncommon ___ This scroll appears to be a “spell scroll”. An “identify” spell reveals its true nature. On the scroll are the apparent mystical words to a random 3rd-level spell; choose or roll a d8 to decide between “bestow curse” (1), “fear” (2), “fireball” (3), “hypnotic pattern” (4), “major image” (5), “sending” (6), “stinking cloud” (7), or “tongues” (8). Regardless of the spell, the words inscribed on the scroll are faulty: a creature that attempts to transcribe the spell or cast it by reading the scroll must immediately succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be incapacitated. A creature that’s incapacitated in this way has a speed of 0. The creature can repeat the saving throw after 10 minutes have passed and whenever it takes damage for the duration, ending the effect on a success. Wondrous item, uncommon ___ These cups are a favorite of tricksters, illusionists, and gamblers. They’re made of a soft porcelain with a pleasing blue pattern, and they typically come in sets of four. While holding one of the cups, you can speak its command word to cause the cup you’re holding to magically switch places with another one that you can see, provided it’s within 10 feet of you. The cups switch instantly, including anything contained within them. A creature can detect the switch with a successful DC 15 Wisdom (Perception) check. Other differences in the cups, such as what’s contained within, may make it more obvious that there was a switch. Once two cups have been switched, neither of those cups can be switched again until the next dawn. The staff can hold up to three wands. Physically adding a wand to the staff or removing one from it requires an action. While holding the staff, you can use any of its held wands as if they were in your hand. You must still meet the prerequisites for any wand you use in this way, such as being attuned to it. Wondrous item, common ___ This small ceramic charm resembles a water droplet with a face. It’s roughly two inches tall and can fit comfortably inside a typical water goblet. Its weight is negligible. The charm’s face changes depending on the humidity, impending weather, or water quality it’s surrounded by. For example, its face becomes sickly if placed in water that’s non-potable (including water that’s contaminated or poisoned) or gently pleased when placed in drinkable water.
