I’m gonna be honest I do not trust anyone who calls themselves part of a “Democratic Tea Party” at fucking all. I am old enough to remember those protestors. I know I have some followers that are like a good bit younger than me, but literally just use google and look at some of those signs to see why I don’t trust that shit. Those people are/were toting Jim Crow-esque caricatures of Black politicians and their families (most often but certainly not exclusively the Obamas) and every antisemitic conspiracy theory under the sun and excuse me if I do not wanna fuck with that.

if you're an adult behaving immaturely i'm not going to "treat you like a child" about it because i have a lot of respect for children as an oppressed and vulnerable class of people. i will however treat you like an embarrassment. which you are being.

if you have to rely on specific scripts or turns of phrase to socialise that's totally fine, but you must NOT reveal them to your friends while slightly drunk. it's like showing how the magic trick works, you can't do it in front of them afterwards

i like dogs a lot but i can never remember the differences between breeds (apart from the few types i've actually owned/interacted with). but i know people looove their dogs and love talking about their dogs, so whenever im talking to a dog owner i'll ask what breed it is, and no matter what breed they say i'll say "oh! i've heard they have a really nice nature :D" and they always go YESSS THEY'RE GREAT and start gushing about their dog and we have a nice conversation and i build social credit with this person. anyway i told my friends about this script a few weeks ago when slightly drunk and now every time we're in public together and a dog goes past they turn to me and ask "does that one have a nice nature?" im in a hell of my own making

huge fan of the depth of a good purple but another area that draws me is definitely around aquamarine/turquoise/seafoam. you can not go wrong once the green starts getting just a tinge more blue. a gal could certainly do worse than to pull over there and stay a while

[Speech (legendary) - SUCCESS] I find the sociopolitical context of pulpy old sci-fi born circa the civil rights movement really fascinating to analyze especially when it was progressive for its time but still reveals the writers' unexamined biases in the subtext

the thing with a lot of the templars dragon age deems as "good" is that said templars believe the templars as an institution are perfectly fine. instead, it is individual people who are giving the noble templar order a bad name. the rampant abuse in the circles is only the fault of some templars who had "forgotten" the true purpose of the order. if only those bad apples are rooted out, the templar order will be what it "originally" was—nevermind that the whole barrel is rotten.
