Every conversation about US politics is like "Ok so there are 100 people and 300 cupcakes, and two of those people have 299 of the cupcakes. We think the cupcakes should be better distributed so everyone gets enough cupcakes."
And then someone will start shrieking and crying about how you can't just steal all those cupcakes from those two people!!!
That it's cruel and unusual to expect those two people to give up those cupcakes, without ever acknowledging that they can't even eat all of those cupcakes, and most of them will simply rot while 98 people split a single cupcake.
They then insist that this is the best system in the entire world and there wouldn't even be any cupcakes for anyone if we didn't let those two people keep hoarding 99% of the cupcakes.
Also the cupcakes were all made by the 98 people, while those two didn't help, but they owned the mixing bowl that was used to make them and so claimed ownership of all the cupcakes, because they valued their bowl over all of the effort and talent that made the treats.
Also it turns out that those two only owned the mixing bowl because their great great grandparents stole it from one of the 98's grandparents, but they insist that it was so long ago & it's not their fault they inherited the bowl.
Most of the 98 also don't live in the US, and the two keep insisting that they shouldn't even get to have any of that one cupcake (despite having played a huge role in making them) so there's really plenty to share if the remaining people just refuse to give them any cupcakes.
They also keep insisting that some of the 98 who do live in the US simply aren't white enough and don't deserve as much of the cupcake.
Also the two keep nonchalantly distributing weapons and offering a whole cupcake to people willing to protect their cupcake hoard.
