Resisting a tyrannical government in the sense of a 1776 uprising is off the table at the moment for sure. However, the fact that millions of people of every demographic are armed at home keeps the tyranny in check. During Covid for example, had everyone from red necks to gang bangers not been armed, we would have seen house arrest and internment camps for people who tested positive. Without a doubt.
In many ways the aims and designs of DC and state governments are hampered simply because police will refuse to enforce political desires and mandates on the populace for fear of their lives.
